2001 usa. all cars in USA the OBD2 port is 16 pins , not all are populated but it has 16 D-shell pin holes matching all scan tools in USA< (yah we invented it !!!!) the law says (EPA ) the connector is about arms length from center of steering wheel rear center (horn) so its under cash or hidden in a cover there, or behind and ash tray, or other panel there the service manual has a photo of this. why not ask a shop to show you, its 5min work do to limits of distance, its easy to find. here ill search google for you,. check fuses and relays.

rodeo or rodeo sport.? log in to mitchell diy and read a bother? if the windows work then CB15 and CB21 are good recline and slide motors in seat , both driver and passengers dead and all modes, slide and recline. there are 4 motors. if all 4 were dead CB21,feed suspect or bad ground. there is only one ground B6 if only one fails then only it is bad. (or the switch driving it) we check voltage to the failing motor, first. if good the motor is bad or seat is jammed if motor groans , it may be only jammed. we cant hear it , or check voltage, only you.

first off,. you never scanned it... so the DTC errors stored, are UNKNOWN (and matter) but here is how to reset the CEL. on all USA cars, 1996 to NOW. (we invented this) if and only if the error is cured, the bad parts repaired due to the fact that buttons can not repair cars, people do. in no order, all ways to skin this cat. 1:drive them off, can take long distances, or many driving cycles. the Service manual; on your car tells you this for each DTC stored. and is different for each. 2: push reset button on the scan tool. the pro way .! 3: pull the battery neg lug for say 5min. this can brick the radio on NAV on newer cars. and cause transmission relearn mode and more. ask. 4: pull the PCM memory fuse. (ask but no engine stated so no help here) its the fuse on the schematic marked hot all the time. that be it. (PCM schem) pull power for 5min, to let the memory bank capacitors to self discharge. if it takes 10 min, so be it, the caps can be 2x better than labeled in the real word. (micro farads) in electronics it's 3 time constant's or about 0.7v volts, it resets. I say this because, of the vast posts that confuse folks about the rules of filter capacitors. T = RxC is the math. 3T and its reset.

no engine stated. ouch.... all else work? car drives, no mifire???? no low MPG? no CEL lamp glowing driving,?????? check engine light,.?? if the cluster TACH (stock ) is dead. then its bad, or the wires from it to the PCm. are bad. of other cluster gauges or lamps are dead, the fuse blew to the cluster. that is all i can do working blind, id have to see all to tell all. ill get your custer drawings and look for you, you can too at Mitchells DIY' there is 2001 rodeo and rodeo sports. ill guess non sport. ok the PCM if you scan it and RPM reads ok then all that is ok the PCM on this car sends RPM data , on 1 wire to the techo, if it arrives there, (wires) then the tacho works if and only if it has power, if the coolant gage works that means tacho has power too. as they sit on the same power rail in the head.

it's located inside the bottom of the transmission pan You have to remove the pan to get at it and replace it.

kristin, answing for usa car on usa forum. is the IMMO lamp glowing, that it> you never said only how to defeat or hack a system. with no facts other than NO CRANK. ok i can work that. guess 2 is car is Automatic trans, most girls hate stick shifts, but is unstated. (cept me sis,) this car has a starter relay, fact 1. fact 2. if car is fitted (its an option) it will infact kill dead (called de-energized ) said relay, so if the IMMO lamp glows, the IMMO is not happy. so can you defeat it , the answer is YES. what you do is take a wire from ground to the this pin seen here. this bypasses the simple Simon, IMMO. here is the official drawing,as you can see the car with no IMMO runs a hard groundto pin 3 on the relay. out of the factory. I also checked your IMMO box and it does not KILL fuel, nor spark! (a good deal)so... there you go , easy peasy japanezy hack 101

It's low on transmission fluid! It has to be checked and pumped in from the bottom of pan. Check for leaks too.

which ever aftermarket product you have chosen follow the manufacturers instructions or notify or go online with company for additional information

it needs a tuneup. get it serviced.

same as muffler bearings... why not find where it leaks first. i guess its and automatic, transmission?and has 4wd and with a transfer case (it too can leak)imagine its box. a box has 6 sides.one cleans it and then drives, and find which side leaks.only evidence works here, clean, drive , find. location.the other way, is to use the dye, kit and light.add dye to oil/lube, then drive, then come homeand use the light (comes with the kit) and find it.or get the car fixed, this is what they will do..... pay them.leaks have many causes.1: bad gaskets. or vents blocked,2: loose parts.3: bad o-rings, seals.4: bad castings, called porosity failures.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casting_defect5: and more, cracks.? warpage,,,, ext, dampageeven road collision damage . or things you hit in the road.we can't just guess , any of this, only tell you , the car needs service. and why ask the blind? (pink ,/red)and needs a new seal, see? then you ask how much is that?,then he or she says.if just seal, it's $15+ 1hr laborif the yoke is damaged, and 1hr, and $100if the last joker damaged the tail other housing at the seal, the cost is a new housing.that joker never heard of proper seal puller.not any of which can be guessed at. ever.one must take it apart and see what is up.that is what the mechanical world is like.unless a new $3000 tranny is in the cards, just for one leak.the common leaks (means nothing really)are:tail shaft seal.front seal.pan gasket leaks due to last service, done wrong.pan drain, if it has one, the seal ring bad. o(front ,rear, bottom are the common sides.)and the shift manual selector shaft seal bad.
