Isuzu trooper duty 1995 loss of power wont rev over 1800rpm

the cars come with many diff. engines. and EFI systems that match it. so cant help you. but ill answer in pure physics. 1: lost DC 12v power to the EFI system causing spark and fuel losses. 2: lost engine compression. 1 or more cylinders. 3: lost spark or never doing a full tuneup every 60k at least. 4: bad fueling, too much or too little. what do do is a few simple tools to discover the truth. do you want to gue$$, or test.

How to change gearbox oil

gear + BOX so is the transfer case, box. or the 5 speed stick box or? what? we drain it then fill it, to the mark. on all gear boxes. if A/T we RTM read the operators guide. for how to do it right, most dont and wreck the tranny. the #1 reason they removed the filler. when posting car issues, stated what it is. like this. 95 Trooper, 4wd M/T , i want to change the 5speed box lube. what do i need to do that.? ill spin the wheel of fate, and land on 5speed box. and answer for TR5 and NV1500 boxes. For all transmissions except for the Borg-Warner T5R, replace the transmission fluid at the first 15,000 miles (24,000 km) and then every 30,000 miles (48,000 km) thereafter. The Borg-Warner T5R transmission does not require periodic changing of the transmission fluid. (they lie)
  1. Raise the vehicle and support safely on jack-stands. Place a fluid catch pan under the transmission drain plug.
  2. Remove the fill plug from the side of the transmission, then remove the drain plug. Be cautious when removing the drain plug: the transmission fluid can be very hot. Allow the transmission fluid to drain into the pan.
  3. Install the drain plug and tighten to 20 ft. lbs. (27 Nm) for all models except the 1996 Hombre, which requires 27 ft. lbs. (37 Nm).
  4. Refer to the manual transmission fluid recommendations for the proper viscosity of engine oil, or type of transmission fluid to be used for the T5R and NV1500 transmissions. Fill the transmission by pouring the new fluid through the fill plug hole in the side of the transmission. Fill until the fluid starts to dribble out of the filler hole. Install the fill plug to 17 ft. lbs. (23 Nm), then lower the vehicle.
so next you ask, what fluid sure. Use engine oil for all of the manual transmissions, except for the Borg-Warner T5R and the NV1500 (1996 Hombre). Make sure to use engine oil of the correct viscosity for these transmissions, as follows:
  • Except 1992-96 Rodeo and Trooper, high temperature-SAE 40
  • Except 1992-96 Rodeo and Trooper, normal temperature-SAE 5W-30SF
  • 1992-96 Rodeo and Trooper, high temperature-SAE 15W-40, 20W-40 or 20W-50
  • 1992-96 Rodeo and Trooper, normal temperature-SAE 5W-30
he Borg-Warner (B-W) T5R is found on Rodeo models with the V6 engine. The 1991-93 B-W T5R uses DEXRON-II automatic transmission fluid, whereas the 1994-96 B-W transmission uses DEXRON- III automatic transmission fluid. use the highest Dexron number, on the shelf, mark III is not made today.

How to replace front brake pads on a 1995 Isuzu Trooper

remove the bolts. if you need to ask this you should not do brakes. pins or bolts. the below is trooper and is like all cars, just about. alldata.com shows it as does the real FSM (fact.serv. man) since this is safety issues, ill pop it up
  • Use a turkey baster or other suitable device to remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir. Discard of the brake fluid properly. Do not reuse old brake fluid.
  • Raise and safely support the vehicle on jackstands.
  • Remove the wheel and tire assemblies.
  • If the brake pads are being replaced (and the caliper is NOT being overhauled), install a C-clamp on the caliper with the solid frame side of the clamp rests against the back of the caliper and the driving screw end rests against the metal part (center backing plate) of the outboard pad. Tighten the clamp until the caliper moves sufficiently to bottom the piston in the bore, then remove the clamp.
  • Remove the caliper mounting bolts from the back of the caliper. If the caliper is not being completely removed from the vehicle, detach it from the mounting bracket and support it using a coat hanger or length of wire. DO NOT allow the hose to be stretched, twisted, kinked or otherwise damaged.
  • If the caliper is being completely removed from the vehicle, place a drip pan below the caliper and disconnect the flexible brake hose-to-caliper banjo-bolt. Discard the pressure fitting washers, then remove the brake caliper from the vehicle and place it on a clean work surface.
  • To inspect the caliper assembly, perform the following procedures:
    • Check the inside of the caliper assembly for pitting or scoring. If heavy scoring or pitting is present, caliper replacement is recommended.
    • Check the mounting bolts and sleeves for signs of corrosion; if necessary, replace the bolts.
  • warning
  • If the mounting bolts have signs of corrosion, DO NOT attempt to polish away the corrosion. Instead the bolts must be replaced to assure proper caliper sliding and prevent the possibility of brake drag or locking.
  • warning 2, do not fail to inspect rotors for CRACKS.
  • end tip of IceBerg.

How to bleed injector pump on isuzu nkr pick up

These are self bleeding so if diesel is getting to the pump it won't need bleeding. If you still feel the need to bleed the system then loosen one injector pipe turn the engine until you see diesel coming tighten again it should fire up. If you have a good flow of diesel coming from the filter to the pump and diesel at the injector pipe then your pump pressure may be low. To check remove any injector reconnect the pipe to it with the injector end where you can see it. Turn the engine with the starter a few times the diesel should be making a mist. Wear eye protection for this test

Sensor engine

That is the all systems operating normally code. If you are having running problems the most common issue is coolant tempature sensor reading wrong tempature or not at all. It usually makes the idle shacky they stink and no power. The other thing is the ground wires on the intake manifold ,the body grounds, connections to the battery. The most common misdiagnosed problems with your truck is melted catalyst converter, dead oxygen sensors and old fuel pumps.

Engine concern

Smoke (blue or black) or steam (white)? White smoke is really steam that is caused by water leaking onto hot surface. Could be leaking from hose running to heater coil under dash, or something else. Check radiator water level to make sure water level is ok. Blue smoke is oil burning. This could be dangerous, caused by similar scenario of oil leaking on a hot surface (from a gasket leak, etc), or exhaust fumes. Black smoke means something is actually burning and could indicate fire. Black or blue some could fill vehicle cabin with toxic fumes, even if you don't smell anything bad.

Connect a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel line and check the fuel pressure. If it exceeds manufacturers specifications; replace the fuel pressure regulator.Spark plug cables which have aged, and now have more han 1,000 ohms resistance per inch of length, also can lead to cylinder flooding; and should be replaced.
