Is there any white smoke coming out the exhaust? Sounds like the same problem my friend had when he warped his head on his 91 civic. Any overheating at all? Otherwise another guess would be maybe a bad catalitic converter that clogged up. Hope this helps any, good luck

1992 then this has a distributor and on the side is a vacumn advance unit ,the later one had a seperate thing with a vacumn pipe running to it ,but this was a long time ago since i saw one and at my old timers age i just do not remember

hook up a scan tool to the obd1 port

possibly 2 solutions 1. manual transmission --probably clutch fluid. find out where it is, fill it , and make sure the cap is closed exactly like you took it off. if it's not closed clompletely, pressure won't be able to build up. 2. auto trans-- transmission fluid..note there is no dipstick to check fluid.

No idea to be honest ,i would need to see it to know what is what ,check for a feed to the blower motor then woirk backwards but i would imagine the centre consol would need to be removed to get to the wiring to bypass the bit anyway .

ether your rear main seals are out or your heads are blown sorry that sucks

on the 92 civic you have 2 sensors for the coolant, one is a coolant fan switch and the other is a temp sensor. the fan switch tells the computer to turn on the fans at a certian temp. i would suggest replacing the fan switch which is located on the thermostat housing. if that doent work it could be the relay. I have owned my 92 civic hatch for 10 yrs and have done all the work to it myself. Also a mechanic by trade. Hope this will help you out

I'm not familiar with this car/transmission but I'd make sure the transmission is full and probably change the fluid. I presume the car has 200-300k miles on it and things are starting to wear out. If you have a bearing going bad and it's not making a lot of noise then it may be drivable for some time yet ... give it more attention if it gets louder. A synthetic lube might be worth the extra cost and extend the life a bit longer.

Assuming you have your pistons facing forward correctly, the caps should have locating pins or an arrow you can face forward. A shop manual would be a big help here,probably. don-ohio

a faulty starter 90 percent of the time. probaly worn out by now. have some one start it for you and with the hood open you should be able to tell what general area noise is coming from.
