2000 Chrysler T&C 3.8 LTR

Hi there,

It could be any number of things from bad cable connection, bad earth, faulty voltage regulator, incorrect drive belt tension.

One quick way to identify the faulty circuit, is to have your vehicle's computer read for Fault Codes by an approved Chrysler Service agent (they will have the diagnostic equipment) - your vehicle OBD computer monitors these functions and the problem should be found immediately.

I have a 2000 chrysier town & country 3.8 it

It sounds like you are either low on transmission fluid, or you have a shift solenoid or TCC Solenoid that is failing. Check the transmission fluid level when the engine is warmed up. If the fluid is at the correct level, see if your check engine light is on. If the CEL light is on, you probably have a failed Solenoid Valve. Have the code checked to find out which solenoid is faulty. I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_69f3cc28d95bf514

The cloth cover of the 'deck' (ceiling) is

It depends on the damage. You can use adhesive used in sofas to glue the ceiling. Check also if the upholstery on top just got loose from the trimmings (it should lock it in place) one the edge of the ceiling. If it would look messy or will may not work, you may need to purchase one.

Off the web it is unlikely that you can get one. I have not searched that well to be honest but I would suggest to check first your local junk yard and check similar cars that are still good inside. There are also shops that specialize with interiors you may have yourself made one or have it fixed if ever it is beyond you.

When van is started,it clicks

After it clicks 2-6 times and then starts, does it crank really slowly or fast? If it is cranking slowly, it sounds like you're battery is weak and should be replaced. If it is cranking fast, then your starter is going bad and should be replaced.

Hi, I have a 98'

A lot of this depends on your OPENER. Typically, current openers use rolling code technology.... The process is to "invite" from the opener... Get a ladder and a light, read the directions on the opener, usually you press a button for a short duration, THEN press the button on the remote sender....

I only hearaclick when I try to start it

if the click you hear is near or at the starter this sounds like the starter solenoid is not working properly.the clicking sound is the solenoid trying to make contact to transfer the voltage through the solenoid to allow the battery voltage to the starter itself.you can change the solenoid itself but i would suggest replacing the whole starter motor as it comes with a new solenoid, and the starter that is on it will most likely stop working shortly and you will have to replace it anyway.

A belt keeps slipping off

Check to see that no bolts or mounting brackets are loose causing the power steering pump to be out of alignment with the rest of the pulleys. When replacing the belt make sure it is seated correctly on the pulley because if it is one ridge off it will cause the belt to shred very quickly.

At 28,066 dealer oil change.

First dealer was NOT doing you any justice. Next oil change run a can of GUNK engine flush let idle 5-10 mins then change Oil & Filter and use a good oil like Castrol or Valvoline 10w-30. You won't have "supposed" sludge build up.
