My heat stopped working in my 2000 town and

If it happened suddenly, it is probably the blend door actuator.

Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6235876-no_heat_fan_blowing_cold_air . These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.

Your blend door actuator is above the accelerator pedal. See picture below.

2000 Chrysler Town and Country Antifreeze leak

I would replace the Thermostat and see if that will not Stop this. It is Coming from the Overflow Tank. It is getting a Little Warm during Driving and the Extra Coolant that will Build up Preassure needs somewhere to go So, It sends it to the Overflow Reservoir and it Seeps out the Overflow Outlet. This is Pretty Common though and Really not that Big of a Deal as long as you do not loose too Much. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

New battery van would click then started one day and starter would not shut off got new starter fine for two days then does same thing and started smoking what is causing this

if there is a relay in the starter circuit, that is suspect I would remove the starter motor and check 2 things first is the condition of the teeth on the ring gear they have a habit of burring over and the pinion gear gets stuck and will not disengage next is to check is the pinion teeth the right number on the new starter for the ring gear That is sometimes an issue but I would suspect first a relay , next damaged teeth on the ring gear ( they appear at specific places on the ring gear (90 degrees -120degres and 180 degrees and run for around 6 teeth where the starter initially engages the ring gear the smoking is from a burnt out starter because when it is stuck in the ring gear , the starter becomes a generator with uncontrolled current generated going straight to ground

2000 Chrysler t&c,what causes the battery to drain instead of charging, only when the van is running.

If the battery is draining while the engine is running, I would suspect the alternator is not working properly.

I have a 2000 Chrysler town & country.Battery light comes on.when it is on with the vehicle running it test reads 11.89 volts, and when I get the battery light to go off it reads about 14.34 volts

Normally an alternator should read in the 13 to 14.5 volt range with the car running. IF it isn't reading that high, your idle speed could be too low, the belt could be too loose, or the alternator needs a new regulator or the alternator needs to be replaced. Also check your battery terminal connections for corrosion first, to see if that helps. If you disconnect the battery, make double sure you have all the radio and other codes needed to restart all of your electronics.

I need to disengage the locking mechanism on my sliding door. It sounds like it unlatches but will not open. HELP PLEASE!

You will need to remove the inside panel from the inside of van to access the cables/linkage to see if they are disconnected, try opening from the inside button, also check lock mechanism to see if it is unlocking both electrically and manually. If you slammed real hard you may have done something to the latch.
