2000 chrysler concorde valve body

The valve body is located inside the transmission, you must remove the bottom pan to access it, a very messy job as there is no drain plug for the fluid, about 3 quarts goes all over unless you have the correct catch basin to collect it.

Crankshaft sensor replacement on 2000 chrysler concorde 2.7

nothing special needed. 10 mm bolt holds the sensor in. remove the bolt, then slide the sensor out. please be sure that when you install the new one that the card board piece is in place on the end of the sensor, that is required to keep from sliding the sensor in to far, since the mount is slotted, if you install the sensor without the piece of cardboard, you could get the sensor in to close the the flaywheel, which could make contact with the sensor and damage it, with the carboard piece in place slide it down in place and replace the mounting bolt, dont worry about the cardboard on the sensor making contact with the flywheel it will probably get knocked off when you start the car, and it wont hurt a thing in the bell housing

Hit from rear now car won't start

Ford products have an inertia switch to cut power to the pump in a wreck, I don't show a switch between the pump and the relay on a Chrysler. If you have no fuel pressure you may have damaged the pump in the tank. A mechanic would check for voltage at the ASD relay in the engine compartment and then at the gas tank connector.

Brakes are engaging while driving. brake pedal becomes very stiff and when let off gas car starts to slow dramatically

First find a new mechanic & expect a decent size repair billI will guess that the main cause is the ABS Braking SystemI won't try & diagnose it without the car,but that may explainthe application or failure of the brakes to release when at speedThat said, the heat & smoke and your mechanics hap hazardquess, may be lead to other issues, such as collapsed brake hose, rusted caliper piston, from never changing the brake fluid, now youhave the pads cooked from the heat, as well as the rotors. My concern is how things will be diagnosed & addressed as far as the fix goes.I will bet you will get many different stories, from different shopsI would check for ABS Codes & other Data & resolve that issue firstThen I would completely go through all 4 corners of the brakes.Flush the system, inspect hoses, most likely due to age & heat, replace the calipers & unlike most people, may machine the rotors, as i havenever found any fact based reason a rotor would warp from heat.I have to ask,why would you even drive one mile, the first timeyou experienced such a brake or vibration problem, like that? Then go 60 mph knowing full well you had serious problems& could be involved in crash & hurt yourself or someone else.Driving a 4000 lb vehicle, is a bigger responsiblity than anyonecares about.
