Need more INFO regarding failure...

It probably thinks you're trying to program a key & fob. I really don't think you can just 'make' a key - I think it needs to be a regulation key fob + key for that particular car - security features and such.

There is a Plug on teh Seatbelt that is under the Seat, did someone damage the Wire or Unplug the system?

are you pushing and holding the button? don't just let go.

it is on the water pump cover. driver side of engine in the front. on the end. just google it . it shows you pictures.

they aren't easy. hidden screws where the handle is inside and at door handle and sometimes behind the red light or reflector at the back of the door. after you find all of the screws you usually have to pick up on the door panel. and I have seen techs with lots of experience have problems getting these door panels off. so good luck.

It actually sounds like the micro switch in the drivers door that reads the key fob is bad, if the key works and the fob works on the other doors and the trunk. You will most likely need to have the door handle replaced, they're not very expensive by themselves but it can be a lot of work. If one vacuum line is cracked, it is time to replace ALL of the vacuum lines. They run the power brakes, control all of the air conditioning and heater controls and on some cars they are part of the emission control system.

The heater control valve may be stuck in the closed position. spray WD 40 on it and work it back and forth. When it finally breaks loose, oil it with 30 weight oil.

You can pull the fuse for now. The traction control pump could be faulty or the wheel sensors are dirty and need to be cleaned with brake parts cleaner

Not the battery--- move on to testing the starting system

Check Engine Light on over a year You do realize that is about the highest level of vehicle abuse & neglect you could have,as far as the electrical & electronics on vehicles go ? Nice Vehicle & only 8 years old & you do nothing Very very sad Check for a dead battery for the starting problem If that is good, then the starter or solenoid may have failed No use asking if you have a repair shop you may use The answer apparently is never

They change it after a certain thousand miles. Read the manufacturers recommendation. It is a good point to have it changed every 30000 miles.
