Call out a mobile auto electrician. The fob is part of the any-theft and immobilizer system. It needs reprogramming to the ECM and anti theft module. The will also check the battery and boost it and get you up and running.
The car is on the trailer its been wrecked up front and all the front clip has been disconnected. I am not sure whqt all they unplugged off the motor. I have no recolkection of the car or its previous life. We cqn put money in it if it is worth it. I know it is maticulous inside for sure! I want to fix it.. but I don't want it to be another hamster wheel, I need to have that knowledge of what to do what to try what not to what has been tried excetera
If the vehicle is equipped with HID lighting, you could have a ballast problem to the light. If they are regular type headlights the connector to the bulb could be causing a problem with a ground or power supply
Look at your MMI in there go to settings and check that your locking is to all doors in the MMI you can set what you like and what door to lock your Drivers door lock may be switched off just change it to on and it will work.
In a perfect world, it means the computer is not getting a reliable signal from the sensor. The computer is very dependent on that type of sensor for making countless adjustments to fuel delivery and ignition timing. if it gets erroneous data it responds in kind.
