Unmute Speakers on 2006 Audi A6
b0z84p2...
I've been having this problem also. I took it to the dealer and they had to load a new update for the mmi system. Luckily mine is covered under warranty.
The other solution is to turn the car off and disconect the car battery for 10 minutes-and then the mmi will reset itself. The problem, however, is that the issue will probably happen again.

About Audi overboost
Yes it does have the overboost option, so what it does its gives you extra revs for more speed but only for a limited time. To activate the overboost you need to put the pedal to the floor and thats when the overboost kicks in. Make sure you dont have the A/C on as its drains power.

Audi A6 Quattro - Looses lights
They usually have igniters that will start to give out on the light bulbs. But if they did not find any faults then it would require a long diagnosis time.

How To Change Rear Brake Pads on Audi A6 2006
Remove the tires, Remove the calaper bolts, (small heads on them 12mm or so) Remove calaper, Pads are setting in a holder. Lube new pads with litheum grease and place in holder. (look at old pads, one or both may have small metel tab on one end) If the new pads have the tab, put that pad where the old pad with the tab was. (ie. tab to the inside) Press pistion in with a 'C' clamp. If it won't go in easly, it may screw in. If the parking brake cable is hooked to the calaper, it probly screws in. Use large pliers to screw in calaper piston. Place calaper over pads and install bolts (lube bolts) Rember to pump brakes befor driving . to get a solid peddle.

Spare master key for 2006 Audi A-6 will open the door but not sta
In some cases, the spare is just a key to get you in the vehicle in case you lock yourself out. The newer model vehicles have a "Chip" in the key and it is "Seen" by the lock. This helps to prevent theft. If you have a key made, you have to go to a dealer to get the info on how to program the new key to get it to start.
Good Luck and hope this helps.

Shifter knob
Do you have a button on the knob? Didn't you try to press it first and then to move the knob to "drive" position?

Rattle in/around passanger A pillar
Audi dealer solved it - the side of the bulkhead on the passengers door has a removable panel to allow work access and it was this that caused the problem.I have since purchased an A5 which has a rattle in the B column on the drivers side and it has been back to garage (twice) - It would seem that just because you are paranoid it does not mean that they are not out to get you.

Audi A6 Y. 2006
First push the setup button on the MMI control, and push the MMI button that corresponds to the word "settings" on the screen, and pick "time," push the master control to enter that mode, then turn the knob to change the time. Be sure to back out of the sequence properly or the clock reverts to the previous setting.
