Audi a3 1996 1.6 5 speeds model. 1st flexi
First you must air bleeding out from inside hydraulic clutch acting system ! On the slave cylinder you will find an aeration screwed ventil provided for air bleeding. See picture below:
Two person are necessary for this operation. One person for acting the clutch pedal and another person for air bleeding out from inside hydraulic clutch acting system by unscrewing the aeration ventil from slave cylinder. This operation is difficult, and must spend some time for successful result!

Audi a3 1600 1999 car cuts out when cold after
You must check up all spark plugs, eventually change spark plug set (4 pieces), and fuel filter placed on bottom right side near reservoir. Also you must clean inside throttle valve control unit, see picture below:
Refit all in reverse order.

Audi a3 brake light problem.Changed fuse,bulbs and
hi check behind the light assembly itself could be its not earthing out due to corrosion your mounting screws are your earthing point it only takes water getting in behind to cause this hope this helps

I have audi a3 05 when starting feels like no
VW engines intend to do this, even if you pull up at a set of traffic lights it will nearly cut out or go into high rev's. i have an a3 & once driving down the road @ about 50kpm, I lost power stearing for 1-2 seconds, stearing wheel went stiff. Audi are a good drive but needs lots of tlc. One other thing is fuel pump could be acting up a bit.

Audi a3 tdi 140 turbo sounds like its whistling
Turbo vehicles often sound like they are whistling when the turbo spools up because it is sucking in air at a high rate and it makes a bit of a whistling sound. Generally not a problem unless it is a different whistling that you are referring to.

Have you verified that the power steering fluid is at the right level? If it isn't, you need to fill it to the proper level using specific Audi power steering fluid (it's a mineral-oil-like fluid, NOT the stuff you buy at the parts store). If you've run the reservoir dry and kept driving, it's likely you've burned out the pump and will have to replace it.
