A good place to start is the brake light switch. There are 2 circuits in there: 1 for the brake lights and the other for the car computer (ESP, Engine brake etc...) If the brake switch has an intermittent fault, the EPS light may come on and the car may run rough until you stop the vehicle and remove the key. It then re-set itself until the next time you are using the brakes and the fault appears again.

if the temp gauge does not return to zero with cold engine then the problem is going to be a gauge/instrument pack fault

Ok the AUDIS and VWS have micro switches in the door latches and the drivers side may be stuck or shot try unlocking the passenger side with a key. You can also try the driver side with a key. If you can get the doors open them and get your battery disconnected both cables put key in ignition and turn it to the run position the hook your battery back up while the key is still on. That should disable the alarm till you lock the doors again.

It sounds like the throttle body position sensor has gone out on you. If you look at the throttle body you will see a small sensor off to one side that has an electrical connector. Ensure it is plugged in. If it is then you may want to replace it. It is quite a simple repair.

Replace the transmission housing is what I would do.

I would agree sounds like a faulty switch, its a cheap part just change it. However why are you changing your oil every 40 day?? 10-12,000 miles is more than sufficient. Changing oil too often is actually bad for your engine!

Referencing oxygen sensor or O2 sensor or 'lambda sensor': B1S1 is 'bank 1', which is the passenger side cylinder bank on a V6 or V8. S1 is the 'upper' or 'upstream' sensor, closest to the cylinder.

leaking heater core or hose that feeds it. look for hoses that pass thru the firewall to passenger compartment. Most times the hose is clamped to a pipe at the firewall so you may just need a hose

More than likely the dip stick is under your car on the side of your transmission .

front or rear is it electric window or manual? your question is missing alot of info.. manual window handle has a retaining pin which needs to be removed and bolts all round the door

Start with your starter and make sure it's not stuck out and getting too hot. Starters in a simple explanation come out to make contact with the fly wheel and start the car then retract when not being used.

check to see if the cable plugs to the back of the alternator.

take it back to the shop as there is a problem in the reverse solenoid/servo or the TCM

Hi Faisal The only way to find the problem on your Audi is with genuine Audi diagnostics software if you have a defective oxygen sensor it will put your engine management light on.

Have you changed the plugs, changed the air filter, etc. Many times a clogged air filter will kill the mileage. Have you had a compression test to see if it is just wore out? All sorts of things need to be checked to answer this.

run the fault codes to determine the faulty sensor./servo.
