How do I remove the serpentine tensioner on my 2005 Volvo s60? The bearing on the pulley seized and damaged the center bolt.

You might be able to get it with a Stud Extractor from your local Auto Parts Store.

Is there an English translated version of the Japanese messages in the display panel available for a Volvo S60 2.5T year 2005?

There should be an option in the car computer to change the display language. Need an ODBII scanner to do that.

My high beam switch won't stay clicked onto bright

Try turning the headlight control knob clockwise so that the arrow is pointing up. You may only have it in daytime lights mode and not actually in headlight mode.

How to remove transmission lines on a volvo 2.5t?

There are little clips that you squeeze in towards the line and that releases them. Squeeze the clips, then pull the line straight out of the radiator. Very simple. When you've done it, you'll go "aaahhh, that's neat!". :D To reinsert the line, squeeze the little clips again and push the line back in and then gently give it a tug to ensure it latched properly.

Hard shifting transmission

make sure the trans fluid level is correct and the fluid is not dark in colour and has a burnt smell. if this is good then you have a problem in the trans itself that needs to be checked out. check to see if there is a code in the tcm that could help find the problem.

Volvo code p0017

Ok, P0017 = Cam/Crank Position Correlation Sensor B Bank 1, so that's your Camshaft Position sensor ; which could be either faulty or set in the incorrect position.

Screeching noise from rear wheels. pads have been changed, discs changed, calipers changed, noise still present. it is not always there, more often after I keep the brakes pressed for more than 2 minu

It is possible that the hand brake shoes have no lining left so I would be looking in that area . The noise id probably from that fact that the handbrake has been dragging and now is worn out.
