depends what type of maintenance was done recently...Sometimes the mechanics fail to replace a part properly or fail to tighten such things as ignition coil boot that snaps on top of spark plugs...u may want to pop the hood and visually inspect what it is they did....

it the drain that goes from ur sunroof. I have an 04 and just figured it out. am a female and did it myself. It has and elbow rubber piece at the end that gets clogged and makes the water backup nd drain into the car not out. TRUST ME this is it. Pop open the grab handles on the panel next to the windshield, unbolt the bolts, pop the panle off, follow the tube down the bottom of the panel, pull it out of the elbow, pull the black rubber elbow out of the metal frame and push something into it and you will see all of the build up push out. They wanted $1000.00 dollars to do it. it is some kind of defect in the design in these trucks. u cane pour water in the lip of the sun roof where ther r 2 small holes (one on eitherside) and u will see it wont drain, but once u do this u will see the water drain out of the bottom of the truck. IT"S EASY !!! Save $1000 and do it yourself.

I have the same problem with 05 XC90 2.5T.. It seems like there is a problem with the power steering pump. And the only way to fix it is to change the pump. Now i'm trying to use the lucas stop leaking thing as well and will see what happens.

be careful on this one..some mechanics and dealers claim its a result of a dem(differential electronic module) fault...others say to replace the yaw rate sensor underneath passenger side seat...the latter is cheaper than the former...start with the latter by removing it and try cleaning it...if it does not work..send it off to where it gets opened up and cleaned properly...when u get it back simply insert it back in its previous slot... .

This happened to my xc90 bought recently....found out the fuse was blown that controls the sunroof...replaced it and all was fine....

timing belt at 105000 miles,transmission service when the car tells you. it will say service trans. side note only have trans serviced at volvo dealer. no one else can rest trans to the new fluid. belive me it really matters

try opening it up manually....and check the fuse that controls the tail gate....could be a quick fix....

Purchase a CD player cleansing disc which should clean the eye reader in your player- The cleansing disc comes with an alcohol wipe that that you apply before inserting the eye reader cleansing disc- Good Luck!
