Intermittant engine check light comes on no problem with motor

A check eng lite will very seldom cause any drive-ability concern, you most likely have an intermittent fault like a O2 sensor, have Kragen run a self test for a trouble code, it's fun and it's free!

Fan blower stopped working

I had the same problem and Ia m working to resolve it.
You need to remove the blover under the glove box it's very easy to remove. 1) remove the glove box, 2) the metalic suport that it's hold by 4 screws and finally remove the 3 screws that holds the blower. Take it off and remove the coverplate of the motor ( 2 screws) and
check the brushes. In my case they were worn out. So you need to buy a new motor with the blower aprox $50 or try to replace the brushes.

Shock absorber on legacy hissing and is very low on that side

The suspension on those is really a brilliant thing, isn't it? Unfortunately, bladders that control the ride height don't last forever and they're pretty expensive to replace. The few that have been in my shop for leaking bladders have been retrofitted with conventional struts all around. Not what you wanted to hear, I'm sure, but it's a LOT more expensive to replace the adjustable suspension, and you can bet that if one of them has ruptured, the others aren't far behind.
The only thing that I can think of that might be a good temporary fix (6 months?) is to get a used air adjust strut from a salvage yard. If you can find one. Superupair in Boulder, Colorado usually has the most used Suby parts, and I believe they ship nationally.
Good luck!

Brakes

if you have rear drum brakes, check the rear brakes to see if you have any fluid leaks as in brake fluid from the wheel cylinder. it sounds like that is what is happening. when rear drum brakes get oil soaked they tend to lock up when the brakes are applied

Cambelt installation problems on a subaru legacy 94

There is a belt tensioner on the front of the engine block that needs to be taken off and compressed(use a vise if possible) you can use a small allen key or something of similar size to lock piston intoethe compressed position . Then reinstall. I am assuming that the belt routing is correct but the compression of the tension cylinder needs to be done for proper belt tension.

Looses power at 3500 rpm

Blocked gas filter is most noticeable at HIGH SPEEDS.

If it looses power at only 3500 or so rpm's, most likely culprit is the throttle position sensor also known as TPS.

Does ur engine burn oil? Could be low compression, but unlikely.
Could alsobe, but unlikely, the coil giving a weak spark.

Whats ur mileage and is it an automatic tranny or manual? Give more details please as to what ur car does, IE sputters, jerks, weird noises, engine revs high but car doesn't go faster, etc.
