Driving along in 100km or 50km zones and the
Electrical probblems are always the hardest to solve. I don't believe it to be the ecu, because when one fries it doesn't work at all but that may be the case. I believe from what you describe there is a short somewhere between an important censor and the ecu, like mas, 02 or throttle positioning censors. Ive also come across cases of which the catalytic converter was clogged making the car not operate correctly. Hope this helps.
How to change the cooling fan in my 94 subaru legacy
I would suggest getting a repair manuel from you local auto store, it will save you a lot of trouble. Also, check the fuses first, and if it is your fan, check Amazon, they have great prices on the entire fan assemply. If you buy the parts from the dealership, chances are they will just sell you the motor for three times the price and five times the hassel.
Cooling fans
yes please check the fan relay or the cooling temp sensor also wire connections and the final your fans when bad.
Over heating after i bleed radiator a hour lata
This is not uncommon for cooling systems to get (hot shots) pockets of air. Fill with engine cold and fill over flow res. get engine to temp. and shut off engine. as it cools it should release any air in the system and you will need to top off the res. as this happen to keep the system from get air back in it. If this does not fix the problem then I hate to be the one to tell you. It is a subaru and you warped the head and you are getting exhaust gases in the radiator. Subaru are tricky like that. I have one that we changed all of it but it was the heads one I changed motor it was a champ.
Why does my cooling fans run continuosly?
HI Daniel, The fan operation is controlled by a temperature sensor which is preset to operate a relay. The relay is usually a normally closed relay which when the cable is removed from the sender unit closes the relay and brings the fan into operation. Check the sender unit, the connection and the relay for defective operation. Regards John
Is this a blown headgasket:?
It sounds like you probably have a newly installed window in your engine block. Overheating can do serious damage to an engine. If the headgasket was bad, there could be damage anywhere from a cracked cylinder head all the way to severely overheated and dammaged crankshaft and camshaft bearings. The fact that it suddenly started spraying oil all over everywhere suggests that a bearing has come apart and a piston or connecting rod has broken and you now have a hole in your engine block.
