my mazda 3 has a vibration between 0-50 km/h then seems to go away . its not my tyres or engine mounts any ideas what it could be?
I have been searching for a possible culprit on this and found the the WHEEL BEARING (inside the wheel hub assembly if I'm not mistaken) could be at fault. At low speeds you will feel/hear a sounds that seems to me coming from your tires (as if you had a flat, but you really don't) and it can cause vibration at higher speeds.

I have a 04 Mazda 3 hatchback (5 door). The brake light on the drivers side doesn't light up. When I turn on the tail lights the light comes on, so I don't think the bulb is out. The top and passenger side brake lights work fine.
The bulb actually has two seperate elements in it.
That is why the tail light works fine.
If you take the bulb out you will see the seperate elements.
Change the bulb and it should be fine.

Car won't start in park because it doesn't know it is in park as P light doen't come on. Have to start in neutral. Sometimes if you wiggle the gear selector you can get the P to come on. Took apart consle and can't figure out what to do. Adjustment necessary?
I had the same problem and I fixed it by oiling the gear shaft beside the transmission tank. There is no taking apart anything in the transmision but instead the shaft that is visible under the car I oiled.

I tried to plug GPS then radar detector to the socket but there was still no power. Where can I find the fuse?
It's under and behind the glovebox.
The black panel has clips like on a gameboy battery compartment, with that removed, you still won't see fuses. There's two skrews near the hinge (on the outside of the glovebox), turn these counterclockwise with your hands. The fusebox will swing down.
The cigar lighter is a blue 15A fuse on the left side closest to the driver's seat.

The fuse box is generally on the steering column side outer wall under the dash in all cars. You just have to pull it out and replace with another by pushing it in.

where is the fuel filter for a 2004 mazda 3 located
The fuel filter is located on the right hand side of the car .It is under a plastic shield just in front of the rear right side wheel .
In some cars of mazda 3 the
filter on Mazda 3 models is part of the fuel pump assembly.
The fuel filter on all Mazda cars can be located on a bracket in the left rear of the engine compartment, next to or beneath the brake master cylinder fluid reservoir or as part of the fuel pump assembly.

Few days ago I had the car serviced then on the way home i stopped filled up and went and bought Gumout complete fuel system cleaner. The next day while driving my rpm guage started jumping from 2000 - 5000 rpm's depending on the speed was the jump around 45mph it would jump 2000 - 4000 rpm's. Its been over a week now the problem still hasnt worked itself out and i filled up twice since. I did notice the rpm's jump less while in cruise control so i use that alot now.
After I had the throttle body of my 2005 mazda3 cleaned, the RPMs would jump drastically - bouncing back and forth up to 16 times! The service manager seemed perplexed...and ultimately the solution was TIME. The bouncing gradually diminished and then stopped...can't remember for sure, but it was probably over about 6 weeks, maybe about 1000 miles.
