Adjust bright lights on 2005 jeep liberty, dim are good

please post full symptoms on HL. high beams not working right, got that. but what is wrong? dead, both sides lows are not dim, that confuses me, dim means weak lamps. my guess is high beams both sides are dead. lets work that. well if both failed, that hints to me the fuse blew, but depends, on how its wired. on the newer jeeps its far more complex 2007 up. TIPM issues tuff. 2005 liberty why are most post on jeeps for this car,? odd. huh? im the electric guy, that like gears more.... the 05 has 2 fuses, id bet both didnt fail. JB fuse 26/27. (jb means junction box fuse box) there are 3 jeeps, Canada, USA and export. if in canada (you never said) they have wonderous, DRL there. called Daytime Running Lamps. (makes head lights complex) and fun. LOL i can guess any of that, the BCM runs the head light relays. we check fuse, sure good. then we scan the BCM got head light errors. yah think? that is correct, we scan first. in most cases the BCM will tell you why its missing up.(what path)!!!! the low beam relay works the high does not, and both fuses will not blow so. that means the relay is bad, or the BCM forgot to close it. yes, BCM;s can messup or the HL switch failed to tell the BCM you want HIGH. does the flash high beams mode work (pull stalk to flash)? recap. and 1 example of how to diagnose. (slow way)
  1. fuses good.?
  2. Scan tool scans shows no HL related or power errors.!!!
  3. HL switch works , BCM input good. for hi beams.
  4. BCM out goes to 0v, (good) High beam command is good)
  5. relay closes, 12vdc across coil good. (from above)
  6. relay out out dead 0v, input 12v ok, relay is bad.
the fast way is to check 5 first (middle of path is fastest) or swap in a new relay if shop has no tools and simple voltmeter. the relay costs more that the meter, so..... if no DRL, then remove the DRL relay below and bingo yours. this the DRL setup, go to alldata.com and read. its there. 25401590-5afre3fjdbg1gkzo1rpx5eib-3-0.jpg

How do i remove the cooler lines off of my 2005 jeep liberty and what size would the compression fitting be on the tranny side need to replace them as i have a leak at the fitting

You need a line connector tool; your local auto parts store should have one as well as replacement fittings. They look like these: If you are not in a hurry, measure the line diameter, scope out how much room you have to use the tool and order one online. Many times all you need is a new O ring.

Would a transmission flush cause misfiring valve,

No. A misfire would not be from a transmission flush. A misfire would be due to bad spark plugs, bad fuel pressure, or bad compression.
If you have never done so, replace the spark plugs first. If it still continues take it to a mechanic for diagnosis.

Fan doesnt work in low speeds

The resistor is blown , just behind the glove box is a spot where one bolt is showing , looks like a open square cut out the screw holds it inside the cut out , remove the bolt swap out the resistor , but make sure you slide the resistor back inside the open slot , that slot helps keep the resistor from over heating , easy fix may be 10 minutes tops , ebay has the resistor , buy 2 i am on my second one in 5 years

My 2005 Jeep Liberty is stuck in gear and trying to get the four wheel drive front end drive shaft off but won't spin to get bolts in so forth any ideas how to get it out

Assuming this is an automatic transmission and that I have understood the question it sounds like you\'re stuck in 4 wheel drive? Are you able to still drive it or your stuck in 4 wheel and the transfer case is frozen or is it that you just can\'t get it out of 4 wheel! If you remove the U-boat between the transfer case and the front difference can you get the transfer case to spit? If not it would sound like either your front different is frozen (in which case you will want to replacing the grease / oil in your front different. If you disconnect the rear drive shift from transfer case and you can\'t get any movement from the transfer case then your transfer case has issues. This to can have the transfer case drained and oil replaced. Aside from. that, I woukd consider taking it to a shop as there could be multiple reasons for this and DYI\'ing could lead to more harm than good. With out seeing the vehicle and going by your brief question, I\'m finding it a little tough coming g up with any solution since the question is very vague. Having said that that\'s the best I can come up with. More and in depth description may be more helpful. I wish I could help more. Just though of one last question, does this Jeep have automatic, or manual front differential locks. Could the diff locks be stuck. Sorry I haven\'t been much more help but I am trying with what little info I have of the problem. Best of luck and for myself and others it would make it easier to help you resolve the problem. I wish you the best!

Suerte.

Either you are low on coolant and there is air in your heater core, or the thermostat isn't working properly, or your water pump is going out.

Just had new shocks put on my Jeep Liberty 2005 CRD. Now the remote keys won't work? I know they unhooked the battery, because the radio and click were not set right.

Take it back to where you had it repaired and have them repair it at there expense.

The battery light came on checked battery it was dead so I replaced it with a new one the battery light will not go off????

-sound like you're already replace the battery. did you...? -If so it's okay. Looks like the problem is the alternator no charging. -Here is the basic way to test by yourself. -Turn on the car, let it run to normal idle then Use ohm meter to check power at battery terminal. If you get 12.5 or below. the problem is the alternator. Or take it to auto zone to check for you. Good Luck mai
