is bad, the CD drive is bad. you have choices. 1: check all fuses. 2: replace it. $$$$$$ 3: get it fixed $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ($50/hr x4 ? and parts, nah....) 4: dismantle it, and unjam it , clean it, make sure no broken CDs in sided or labels fell off inside, or other alien objects inside, blow it out.(canned air) (silent prayer?) 4: upgrade to a head end with USB port and run USB mem stick with 1000 of songs off a stick the sizes of a Chiclet gum. id go with #4, upgrades are a big win..

fuses. first. then if bad, unplug it. wait 1 hour and plug back in. if not good now, time to get it serviced. as opr guide directs.

is it just for illumination? (park lamps on) if yes,that is a bad lamp, if all illum lights blink that is a bad dimmer. if its a lamp for something else do say???????????

the parking lights in the back are not working? i would check for a pinched wire or bare wire on the front lights, did they replace the bulbs when they did the repairs? the front and rear parking lights are on the same fuse.

When the temperature gets below freezing and you use a bargain windshield washer fluid or plain water, it freezes and won't work. I normally drain every drop, not just add to what's already in there, and refill with Prestone yellow windshied washer fluid that has a lower freezing point.etort

get the car serviced and diagnosed? noise finding takes hands on work. not guessing. do you need list. and are you a hands on person? many here are not just looking for wild guessing. which are you>? i cant even guess. as you never said what corner or car makes noise. kinda key to Discovery. and cause. my guess its the front. end. bad brakes. bad wheel bearings bad U-joints. up front. disc caliper pistons stuck or the guide pins SEIZED. Disc rotor damage of any kind. (inspections find most of these) tires with too low pressure can cause odd effects. truly odd. one tire i had , had side wall deformations, (cheap tires , factory 2nds by previous owners) and when low, they make steering wheel ripple effects///, the most odd thing ive ever seen, not 1960 when this happened all the time. (nylon cord tires or worse). Inspect tires for damage or low air pressure, (every 30 days) but grinding is bad news, any machine that grinds, is the sign of doom. (metal against metal dry) the rule on noise, is LOCATION , it's exact location.

Do you have xenon lights and if so the ballasts are bad. You can get a light kit on eBay cheap

drive line? you meant? check U-joints yet/ that is first. and are most cheap feel them youtube has vast posts of folks doing the feel tests. man handled, and see if there is play or feel play all play is bad. (in bearing joint)

its next to filter. the sender fits to the main oil gallery like the filter too. why not just look at the dealer parts page, find it and see. the fsm covers this too. page 4804 (posted many times now)

i cant hear that? belt squeal, is it, find location, first. then ask. we cant do locations here.

does A/C work ok. all modes. does car run ok, drive ok,and all lights and accesories work? find location of noise first? i use a 10cent hose to my EAR, and listen for exact spot. or use stethoscope (a $5 tool) check all fuse yet. check battery voltage at 12.6vdc rested?

The most common culprit is a blown fuse. Your manual should be able to direct you to the location of the fuse box and applicable fuse. Replace fuses only with those of the same rating called for in the manual.

check the fuse yet? are the dash park lamps dead too. radio glows cluster glows head lights in park. park relay bad. if all that good, we need to use a voltmeter. got one, for 10 bucks. at walfart?

the cluster in the the car, is standalone, its just a display and has self test you can do. http://www.fixkick.com/Jeeps/jeeps.html#cluster Check both cluster fuses in the fuse box yet? one is power other is memory. if that test passes, and you THEN PCM, did you scan it yet? (any modern $10 scan tool works here) can-bus rated, scan tools are Ubiquious now. not scanning the car, and missing can-bus errors is bad idea. or missing PCM can't talk to the display(cluster) misses the boat. or VSS errors, or any TCM errors, or other errors, DO SAY THEM. the PCM sees RPM or the engine can't run , with dead cam or crank sensors. so right off the bat I know PCM is sending RPM .(tacho) the speed can be checked with any scan tool made (rpm /speed) plug in scan tool and drive, and have helper read the PID called, SPEED . (vss speed) cheap tools can do live data stream. on ANY PID. (pids are live parameters by number) do not guess. here, scan it first. or go broke.

Your description sounds like a water pump replacement is needed. Check for leaks when you are done, you may likely have one or two more, when you finally get system pressure again.
