I have a problem with my cherokee cooling fan relays keep burning out.

Well fred the thing to do would be to voltage drop test the electrical circuit an test to see how much current is being pulled on the circuit ! Do you own a DVOM - digital volt ohm mete , do you know how to use one ? Also check where the relay plug's into , does the relay box look burnt ? High resistance ! Check to see if the relay fit's tight . . My 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited stalls at a stop or in reverse when warm.

Check the IAC (idle air control) if its plugged or dirty clean the port with carb cleaner you can find it on the intake under the resonator box its the bottom one the top is the TPS which could also be bad. http://www.wjjeeps.com/engine/throttle_bdy_02.jpg specify which engine it has as well v8 or the 6 because it could be a PCV valve on the oil chute
