each door has a switch. Cherokee. XJ. P0202 is cylinder 2 injector circuit malfunction. And P0302 is cylinder 2 misfire.

The # 2 fuel injector is the problem not the spark plug.
Check to make sure the electrical connector is still plugged in to the injector. The injector is right below the the #2 plug. If you have an electrical tester check the Ohms between the two contacts on the injector. It should be around 12.
Another way to check your injector before you spend the money is to switch two of them. Just make sure that you get yourself a manual. It will guide you through the injector removal better then Something like this.
If it's any consolation I have a similar problem P0202. Unfortunately I have no compression in # 2 cylinder which means a possible blow head gasket. I'll be happy to trade you.

You mention vacuum is working, but the symptoms point straight at the power assist for the brakes being faulty, probably the vacuum accumulator. I'd stop driving it and get it looked at ASAP

My Ford Explorer does this too. Almost knocked myself out getting in one time this winter since it had frozen and sagged low over the drivers door. Typically this is because the drainage rails for the sunroof have gotten clogged. It's normally set up to handle a little leaking - the excess water flows down the back of the sunroof rails and into a tube that goes down the side of the car between the front and rear doors. It gets clogged with pollen ans such through the years. Every car is set up differently, but it typically requires taking down the headliner and tracing the rails to find the hose, disconnecting it, and plowing it out with an air compressor.

it means only, that combustion energy on cylinder 3 is weak. it can be : bad spark. #3 bad fuel ratio (lean or too rich) #3 (injectors) bad compression. #3 we find it by doing tests, with simple tools do you want guess or test?
