98 jeep tj, dash light/taillights/licence plate light don't work

disconnect head lights, and replace fuse. Then turn the light back on to see if it blow a fuse again. if not, plug on light in at a time. You might have a bad headlight???? then unplug that one if nothing happens. Then plug the other one in. It could also be a bad taillight bulb. I have had bad tail light bulbs. Do all of them, one at a time.

1998 Jeep Wrangler. I replaced the battery yesterday. Fired right up, drove fine, this morning ... dead.

I would look for a draw that is killing the battery.

I have a 1998 jeep wrangler sport and it is having starting problems. i usually have to crank, release, then crank again to get it to start. it always ends up starting, but it takes a few tries. it oc

You can mount a fuel pressure guage to the engine fuel rail at its bicycle valve bleeder, with tof see if it has pressure when you first turn on the key to start. You may be able to hear the fuel pump running by listening at the fuel tank fill cap that you would remove for that moment. By turning on ignition to start, not run, you are energizing the fuel pump to bring up pressure that should happen in several seconds. So, check if it gets to normal fuel starting pressure, maybe 45 to 60 psi. Then turn key all the way to run, to get car engine running and watch the fuel pressure to see if it stays pretty constant at that 45 to 60 psi. Turn engine off, and watch how long it takes for fuel pressure to drop, and it should not happen fast but instead over 15 minutes or more. That might indicate your fuel regulator valve isn;t working right. Is it possible your starting system is the culprit, say some battery cable loose that may make starting hard or eventually quit until you tighten these cable ends at battery and starter.

98 WRANGLER - brake pedal goes all the way to the ...

You changed the master cylinder and vacuum booster and have no leaks anywhere, but did you bleed the entire brake system after you did this work? A little bit of air in any of the lines will make the brakes ineffective.

1998 jeep wrangler will not shift when running?

Standard transmission? If so the clutch may be broken/damaged or far out of adjustment. Can you select the gears with the engine off? If so then take a real good look at the clutch.

1998 Jeep Wrangler the radio went dead but cigarette lighter works and fuse is ok. The next day the check engine light came on. Any idea what is going on

radio dead, that means no sound or nosound nor dial data? does the am/fm and cd all fail, using real CDDA disks(store bought) ? if the radio is totally 100% dead that is lost power to radio. fuses or lost ground to the radio. the check engine light means one thing,. get the car scanned, 1996 to now, all cars USA. you scan it, they scan it. i take it car starts and drives perfectly? head lights work> and all outer things?

JVD car radio. Why won't it shut off when key is shut off?

The radio has 2 power feeds, one is wired to battery so it has power all the time for memory and the other power feed is from the ignition circuit so when you turn the ignition on it turns the radio on. You need to determine if the ignition feed is shutting off with the ignition. If the power feed is shutting the power off then there is a problem with the radio. If not then there is a problem in the ignition circuit.
