did that mean you had to replace the fuse because it was blown? If so the fuel pump or fuel pump relay may be bad. Check for tight connections-no corrosion- at the fuel pump and fuel pump ground.

may have corrosion under relay box pull box to make sure

Metal on metal sounds when an engine is running are virtually never cheap to fix. Look for another vehicle. Hope this helps.

this is of course a V6 petrol engine

check that the censor wires at the wheels are not broken.

tap on the starter sounds like what your running into is a starter problem.

FUEL PRESSURE IS 48 - 55 PSI. IF FUEL PRESSURE LOW REPLACE FUEL FILTER FIRST BEFORE BUYING A NEW FUEL PUMP.

The cam pulley notch goes in line with the mark on the front cam bearing cap and the crankshaft pulley goes at 12 o'clock - its got a tiny mark on the back lip that lines up with the mark on the cover .

Did you take the cams off in one lump or split them ? if you did come back on here for how to time them up .

FUEL PUMP FULL OF WATER.FUEL TANK ALSO FULL OF WATER.WATER IS IN THE FUEL TANK.THATS HOW YOU GETTING IT IN FUEL PUMP.

THE ECBM IS UNDER THE DASH.CODE 43 LOSS OF POWER OR GROUND.CHECK THE FUSE AND ABS RELAY.

Yes you can . Requires some skills but the only bits that dont work after are the speedo and the rev counter .

These can be made to work but its a bit tricky ..

On the bottom of the motor..

do a tone up plugs wires caps rotor coils air filter oil change also put lucas gas treat ment when you have a full tank

open the bonnet and loose the light assembly, then fix the new one where the faulty or old one was removed.
