Transformation fluid is dripping
Fix leak. Most likely a servo cover leaking. The fluid has to be pumped in fron the bottom of pan until it runs out of fill plug when hot.
WHEN YOU TAKE OFF OR STOP THERE IS A THUMP NOISE
Hi,
If your vehicle is rear wheel drive, It sounds like the universal joint might be going out.
It would be best to replace this before you lose a drive shaft while using the vehicle. They aren't so expensive, and a shade-tree mechanic can replace it :o)
Hope this helps... Good luck!
I need a pedal position sesor 4 my 01 isuzu rodeo
Probably you mean a throttle position sensor commonly referred to as a TPS. They frequently go bad. Google "Isuzu TPS" for location diagrams and other info. Once installed, there are likely to be adjustments needed that require equipment. Any Isuzu dealer should have one in stock.
2005 Jeep Liberty test front bearings
I think it has to be your brakes. You better take them apart and look. They may look good from one end, but be shot on the other, or good on the outside, and worn out on the inside.
New brakes still making grinding noise
Sounds like it is your hub bearings. Jack the car up and check for play in the hub bearings. More than likely this is your issue and the bearings need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Thanks for an honest rating.
2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport V6 cuts oof
There are 3 major issues with the V6 Rodeo. The intake manifold gaskets leak. The drive by wire sensor on the gas pedal goes bad and makes it stall or run at just idle (light will come on). And your problem is the wiring harness to the motor. Get under while it is running (best to do on lift) grab the harness and shake it and pull it. Engine will probably die. Sometimes taking plug apart and using electrical contact cleaner on it will work, sometimes a stick of dynamite will cure all the issues with these. My son was almost killed three times in his 2001.
Broken fan
solution: when you start the fan and nothing happens simply reach under the glovebox on the passenger side dashboard and firmly bump the fan housing, starts up every time.
Timing belt
The best thing to do is go to alldatadiy.com and buy the subcription for your vehicle. It will give you the procedure to replace the timing belt and it also has all kinds of repair info, specs, wiring diagrams, etc.
It is well worth the money and it is good for 1 year.
My shop uses alldata and it is very helpful.
Occasional High Idle on a 2001 isuzu rodeo sport
It may be a Throttle Positioning Sensor, or TPS for short. Is the engine light on, and if so you can get it scanned at any local advance auto or autozone for free to tell you what it is. If it's not the TPS, checking simple preventitive maintnence areas, like tune up, if it hasn't been done in a while, it's a good thing to do.
Hope this helps
Isuzu rodeo sport 4wd, stuck in 4wd
Don't know if this will help with your exact problem, but I can share with you how I have "fixed" this.
If the 4WD indicator is flashing, then it means the 4WD select switch is working but the 4wd "clutch" hasn't released. Backing the vehicle up slowly, or sometimes just switching into reverse with the 4WD switch in the 2WD position is usually enough to release the 4WD and the 4WD indicator should go off. It after all this, the indicator still does not go off, it could be some issue with the electric 4WD clutch not releasing.
You should be able to tell if the 4WD drive is still engaged by driving slowly in a circle. On drive pavement, the front wheels will "hop" around. Don't do this too fast or too often on drive pavement, since the part time 4WD was not meant for this. The front wheels have to be able to slip in relation to each other, when in 4WD.
Hope this helps and wish you well in your troubleshooting.
