Where is the fuel sensor located on a Renault

a 98 Honda civic, Renault, is this a motor swap?and there are many sensors, and many with the FUEL , moniker.why not say, why you need to know that, or why you think you need to know,.Example say your read the service pages, and it says to replace the 0xy (fuel) sensors at 100k miles.answer , replace front sensors, 1 for I4 and 2 for v6if car gets smog checks? id wait for P042x codes before id even consider the rear sensor.other sensors.. on all cars.fuel tank pressure.some have fuel pressure actual, some have flex fuel sensors. if really a MASTER2nd gen had. (wiki cut and paste) no country stated, why ?The Master used the Renault S-Type engine in SxU and SxW versions, the G-Type engine (G9T) and the YD engine.so can not answer any questions until you discover what engine you have.older post. but not that old. My 1998 Honda Civic has spark and sounds like it

Hi: If you haven't changed your fuel filter in awhile, an easy way to check to see if your engine is getting fuel from the fuel pump is to replace the fuel filter. When you install the new fuel filter, leave the connection that goes to the engine off, and have someone help you: Turn on the ignition while making sure the outlet of the fuel filter is going into some sort of container. You should have fuel pressure of some sort. If not, troubleshoot the fuel pump circuit. There is a fuse and a relay involved. If you don't want to mess with the fuel filter, you can purchase a fuel pressure tester for less than $30, and it connects to a threaded fitting on your fuel rail.

Dealer said they have to reset the device. ???.

You did not say what the problem is. Reset usually means the onboard computer and you can do it yourself by disconnecting the positive battery terminal (+) and letting it sit for about 10 minutes before hooking it up again.

ok slow down, it stalls, that is all we need, no need guess.and tune up don, but you skipped the fuel filter? and air filter,?STALLS 101.1: lost 12vdc to EFI system. lost elect. power. easy to test , easy to see. you can attach a DMM set to 12v at the IGN output wire.and see if it drops to zero as engine dies. sure can.2: you could , check for spark at death, got sparkand work that path if spark fails. 3: lost fueling, (sparks soaked in fuel x 4? ) then its floodingif dry spark tips x4 then lost fueling , so try test fuel.you failed to say, is this a hard fail , i t dont run now.or is always random... just a lil hint.assuming power is hot at all EFI fuses. then fails only 3 ways,1: lost compression hot (if solid lifters, lash never set)2: lost spark'3: lost fuel or flooding.if flooding use WOT, in this super secret mode works, Wide open throttle cranking, clears floods. (ecu cuts all fuel in this mode)

1998 honda civic. fuel pump when key is turned on

You should have close to 12 volts and then it drops to 0. That is the ecu priming the fuel system. Once you start yu should have 12v constant to the same wire. If your fuel pump is functioning ok, scan ur ecu for trouble codes. If there are no codes look into your coil and your icm in the distributor. Very commo for failure. Once the car dies, remove any spark plug wire on the plug side and put a plug into the end of it. Put the electrode of the plug close to a bolt on the valve cover and get someone to start the car, see if the plug is sparking. If it is you have a problem with fuel delivery, may not have injection pulse. You may also have a main relay failure
