2006 Chrysler Pacifica Questions & Answers
2006 Chrysler Pacifica won't start and the water pump is leaking.
Two unrelated issues. The water pump is a mechanical device that rotates an impellor by the fan belt to circulate coolant water through the engine and radiator via the heater matrix. Starting is an electrical system reliant on compression, spark and fuel. Call out a garage to get it started, then get the water pump replaced

Check for earthing wire ( between chassis and engine block,or check the battery contact wiring, or check whether your battery terminals are clean to contact.) And last check whether your ignition barrel by steering wheel is working. Also check in the fuse box for ignition fuse or Relay whether are good.
PCM chrysler pacifica 2006
If I remember correctly, it should be behind the inner wheel liner on the drivers side behind the bumper. Just pull the drivers wheel and the liner is easily accessible.
Is there a fuse for an 06 pacifica for rear wiper?
I do not think there is a separate fuse just for the rear wiper...the 30amp #6 fuse services all wipers and related washer pumps.
The fuse is located under the hood in front of the driver.
If the only thing that is not working is the rear wiper (fronts work and washers work) then it is not the fuse. Believe it or not, some people have had success with hitting the rear wiper motor mount .... the motor brushes can get a bit corroded/dirty. Of course your wiper motor may have totally died too...

First step must be a thorough visual inspection of all the engine compartment cables. There is clearly a huge current drain causing the positive cable to smoke. If the inspection doesn't reveal any obvious problems as many circuits as possible must be isolated from each other and from the battery until the discharge has been eliminated and then reconnected one at a time until the guilty circuit is found.
I advise you not to begin the work assuming the discharge is connected to the engine management problem - coincidences do happen and the work can't progress far until the discharge has been fixed.
Pacifica fold down seat option
You should be able to fold the seat down. Often, when they have not moved for an extended period of time, the latch will stick. Try leaning against the seat, while pulling the latch. Often this will release enough pressure to allow you to pull it free.
I have a 052005 crysler pacifica the transmission
This is such a common problem, I should cut & paste the reply. There are two fixes, unrelated: 1) clean the ground connection that is shared between the starter and TCM. (99% of the time this fixes it.) 2) replace the brake switch on the pedal... it is slow to return to full open and causes the fault to trigger in the TCM and limp mode. Your TCM and AT are fine!!! Take a deep breath let out a sigh of relief!
