Have the vehicle checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's , lights on codes are stored . The code or codes will point to a diagnostic direction

Have slack in cable then slide cross piece up then side ways to go through spare center.

First step must be a thorough visual inspection of all the engine compartment cables. There is clearly a huge current drain causing the positive cable to smoke. If the inspection doesn't reveal any obvious problems as many circuits as possible must be isolated from each other and from the battery until the discharge has been eliminated and then reconnected one at a time until the guilty circuit is found. I advise you not to begin the work assuming the discharge is connected to the engine management problem - coincidences do happen and the work can't progress far until the discharge has been fixed.

You should be able to fold the seat down. Often, when they have not moved for an extended period of time, the latch will stick. Try leaning against the seat, while pulling the latch. Often this will release enough pressure to allow you to pull it free.

Could be the BCM, have the dealer scan it for faults.

This is such a common problem, I should cut & paste the reply. There are two fixes, unrelated: 1) clean the ground connection that is shared between the starter and TCM. (99% of the time this fixes it.) 2) replace the brake switch on the pedal... it is slow to return to full open and causes the fault to trigger in the TCM and limp mode. Your TCM and AT are fine!!! Take a deep breath let out a sigh of relief!

Engage the emergency parking brake, to avoid causing the car to roll or move when removing the bumper.

Release the screws holding the wheel well liners in place with a screwdriver. This will expose the screws holding the bumper bolts. • Release the bolts holding the bumper in place, using a wrench, and have a friend support it while it remains wired to the car.

Disconnect the wiring running to the bumper to separate the fog lights from the car. Pull out the light fixtures from the bumper cover.

Remove the grill in the bumper cover, taking out the screws holding it into the cover. This will allow you to separate the grill and the bumper cover.

Secure the grill and light fixtures into the new bumper cover, using the hardware you removed from the old cover.

Reconnect the necessary wiring. Support the bumper cover in front of your car or have your friend hold it in place again.

Secure the bumper cover using the retaining bolts you took out earlier. Tighten the bolts to hold the bumper cover securely against the car.

Replace the wheel well liners with the screws you took out.

Brushes of the motor would have wasted.
Replace the brushes or the motor

The system has to be scanned when the ABS light is on, only then will a fault code show up to lead you in the direction of the problem.
