06 dts stuck in park
The first thing you do is check the brake lights, do they work, if not you found your problem.

Misfire on 2-4-6-8 cylinders
Welcome to the Cadillac world. These are the second worst to work on when it comes to computers/wiring. Mercedes are the worst. Diagnostic time at my house is $300(tells you what is wrong). I refuse to do them at work, they don't charge enough and I get yelled at for taking to much time. Just take it to a dealer.

Why don't windshield wipers with rainsense work?
No wipers at all , hi , low , delayed ? You really need a factory scan tool to diagnose this problem , there is a lot involved ! The switch , BCM , wiper relay , an wiper hi relay ! With a scan tool you would be able to access data parameters in the BCM - body control module . When you turn the switch to turn on the wipers , that's an input to the BCM , the BCM then energizes the proper relay in the under hood relay box . Turning on the wipers ! Plus there could be trouble codes stored in the BCM pointing to a problem .
Low Speed Operation
When the wiper switch is in the low speed position, ground is applied through a resistor internal to the switch and the wiper switch low signal circuit to the body control module (BCM). In response to this signal, the BCM energizes the WPR relay by applying battery voltage through the wiper relay control circuit to the coil side of the relay. This allows battery positive voltage from the WPR fuse to flow through the switch input side of the WPR relay and out to the switch input side of the WPR HI relay. Since the wiper high relay is de-energized and its switch contacts are normally closed to the low speed control circuit of the windshield wiper motor, the motor will operate at low speed.
Wiper motor low speed operation and the WPR relay can also be commanded ON/OFF by using a scan tool. Refer to Scan Tool Output
Where are cooling fan sensors located?
normally in the head near the thermostat housing
the plug is a square shape with 4 wires in the connection
don't confuse with the temperature SENDER unit which will be in the same area but will only have 1 wire to it
2006 cadillac dts check the tire monitor system
First check for low tire pressures using the Information button (low pressure warning occurs below approx. 26psi). If pressures seem OK, then one of the wheel tpms sensors has probably quit - you can check for error codes (DTCs) using a code reader to see if this is the case, and the faulty sensor will have to be replaced.
How do I locate and change the map sensor on a 2006 Cadillac northstar dts
4.6L & 6.0L Engines
The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor is mounted in the front of the intake manifold behind the throttle body.
5.7L Engine
The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor is mounted in the rear of the intake manifold.***** you didn't tell me what motor you have so here are all of them on4.6L&6.0L its mounted in the front of the intake manifold behind the throttle body on the 5.7L its mounted in the rear of the intake manifold
