Hi Joan Whittaker,what does no crank mean. the starter motor is dead? some posters call d crank= running engine. which engine there? cranks fast but will not start. underhood fuse box f24 blown? step 2 after all fuses checked is: shift to Neutral see if that allows cranking per my red circle below is PCM control. is the dash IMMO lamp happy? as you can see the pcm decides to do the cranking or not via its starter relay. if you scanned the PCM it will tell you why it id not start. immo error OR A/t PRNDL (TRS) ERRORS. OOPS the IMMO page in your users guide covers IMMO if key 1 fails try key2, car came with 2 keys new. READ ALL PAGES ON IMMO FIRST If the engine does not start and the Security System Light comes on Security System Light (CLUSTER LAMP ICON LOOKS LIKE CAR CUT IN HALF WITH A PADLOCK, never ignore this lamp. How long does it sit before trying to restart when it fails?

With all the electronic's on your vehicle this type problem is hard to diagnose. It would be better if it died an didn't start back up , then it could be diagnosed . Your vehicle has a number of electronic control module's , sensor's etc..... Plus the modules all share information on a serial data bus ,communication network . A loose connection ,a module not sending info. ,anything like this could bring down the data bus an cause it to die. I feel for you , the dealer shouldn't have just replaced part's like that if they were not sure . Problems like this can take a long time to pin down . Hooking up testing equipment , using a 8 channel lab scope to check electical signals to an from the PCM , BCM ,data bus. Could take a lot of diagnostic time . Did you buy the vehicle new ? Get the factory Rep. involved , engineers from cadillac etc. When i have a problem vehicle at the dealer that's what i do , call tech help line .

Sometimes the front suspension bushes will squeak when you hit bumps, and occasionally it will be a shock absorber. If this does not turn out to be the case, I would just take it to another dealer and ask them to look at it.

There is no power steering belt - the PS pump is driven by the serpentine belt on the passenger end of the engine.

One injector (#2) is not working properly causing misfires. This can be because the injector has failed, the ignition control model driver for that injector has failed, or there is a wiring problem between the module and the injector. Most frequently, it's the injector and you could start by replacing it, but it's complicated and if it were me, I'd take it to a GM dealer for diagnosis and repair.

Ignition cylinder could of been worn and key no longer matches tumblers.

Whatever fell off isn't a torsion bar - there isn't one. For help, describe the part better (a picture would help).

The first thing you do is check the brake lights, do they work, if not you found your problem.

What is "withblock"? What exactly is the problem you are having? By the way, only a dealer can diagnose and reset/repair/reprogram the theft deterrent system.

You talking about caddy dts park lamps. Did you check for voltage at proper fuses? You see the part lamp relay, correct? Your owners manual may show fuse and relay application and location.

Welcome to the Cadillac world. These are the second worst to work on when it comes to computers/wiring. Mercedes are the worst. Diagnostic time at my house is $300(tells you what is wrong). I refuse to do them at work, they don't charge enough and I get yelled at for taking to much time. Just take it to a dealer.
