The courtesy lights on my 1992 Buick Park Avenue
Hello! You may need a multimeter to perform a few test procedures but we will do the simple testing first...See diagram below of the Relay Box which is under the right side of the Instrument Panel...The Right column, as well as the left, has five relay slots...The bottom relay in the right column is the Interior Lights Relay (aka fog light relay)...#1 suspect is this Relay...Rather then buying one (they are inexpensive anyway) switch it with the Horn relay...Horn relay is in right column, second one from top...See if courtesy lights work...If so replace Relay...See second diagram below...If this does not solve the problem: The #2 suspect is the Light Switch...#3 is wiring and we will address these two after the Relay is eliminated...Guru....Saailer

Buick 1992 Trunk has Automatic Pull Down feature.
Hello: remove the cover, there is a black switch mounted to the pull down assembly held in place with one screw. if the fuse is good for the pull down then this switch may be bad. (it is a high failure rate component) Dealer item only.
Need to know how to take a door panel off
it pops off, also there are screws in the armrest, and one nut behind the warning /step light at the rear of the doors it is hard to get to, but a long 10m wrench will do it!!
Blinkers wont blink on there
It looks like a little tin can about one and a half long and three quartes in diameter. Has a couple of flat connector on one end. Usually up under the dash on the driver's side somewhere.
Hello I have a 1994
There are a few ways that i know of to BYPASS this system. This problem has been occurring on GM vehicles since 1982. They are fully aware of the problem and hundreds of vehicles are effected by this same curse. Since your security light is
flashing, this tends to lead toward either a worn out key or a bad ignition. This system is all about READING the ohms of the chip in your key. The ignition reads this code, sends it to the Theft Deterrent Module (TDM), and then the TDM sends a signal that allows the starter to start. It is BREAKS in this communication that triggers the security light and the "no start" situation. If the security light were to be
solid instaed of flashing. then this would indicate a failure in the TDM. Go this link. It explains the situation and offers 2 ways to bypass this system. The first one is considered a key/ignition bypass. This should work for you though it would still leave the TDM active. The second one is a full bypass which eliminates the entire system 100%.

Something is killing my battery
It could be a number of things. Something is staying turned on. The most likely cause is all the things that can work without the ignition turned on, These things include headlamps, park lamps, dome lamps, brake lamps, glove box lamps, Vanity lamps in the sun visors, Trunk and hood lamps, or even a power door lock switch that is sticking.
