try to close or open the window from the main switch.If it works then you have the rear door window button. If it still not working either from main,then you have to check the window regulator in the rear door.

it is located under the intake manifold.

All the manual says is to take the car to a Bimmer dealer if this warning is on. It indicates a malfunction in the window closed sensor I would guess.

It sounds like your "memory" power input to the stereo is not working the way it should. While the main power for the radio comes from the ignition, the memory power comes directly from the battery.
