sounds like the valance drains are pluged or you are missing a few ruber plugs in the fire wall
if the car smells sweet then it's time to look at the heater core

most likly a heat shield check and see if any are loose

Two ways to go about it.... if you know the dealer where the car was orginally purchased, they should have the codes on file. If not, you have to have the serial number off the radio. Once you have that it's easy to get the codes through Honda, but the hard part is getting the serial number. If you are mechanical, you can take the radio out yourself, the serial number is on the back of the radio. Your only other choice is to take it to the Acura dealer, but they will charge you $100.

check the fuse in fuse box it usually called auxzillary power

go to your dealer with that number and your VIN number that is the only way to get the code

Immediately take your car to a dealership. You run the risk of a major catestrpohic component failure. I wish I offer you a better alternative. Best of luck!

you may want to check the ground wire for the engine; if the car just shut down it's possibly an electrical. if the ends are corroded replace.

likely a blown fuse from the trailer lights. At least I would say so for the tail lights, Dash lights seems a bit odd.

Best way to find this is look in side your owners manual. It is security code to protect from theft. If not call a Acura dealer or the shop you had it done at. They should help.

Take a look at the shift lock. When you depress the brake is there an audible click heard coming from the center column? If not there could be a few possible problems. Either your brake pedal switch is defective(brake lights coming on?) the wiring to the shift lock is open or shorted, or the shift lock itself is defective. A quick fix is to remove the small plastic cover just right of the shifter that is the shift interlock manual release. Using a small pocket screwdriver depress the white plastic button and move the shifter.

No, but it is really easy to determine that it is damaged once you try to run it with the belt on

There is a salvage yard that has a motor with 60K miles on it for $1320 and cost to install would be 1,200. Should I do that or have them rebuild my engine?
I would go with the 60k engine, it is cheaper and will give you a engine with fewer miles on it. I would make sure that they replace the timing belt on it though they should already know to do that. Let me know how this turns out.

This is the de-tent or kick down cable. Most commonly known as the down shift cable. This tells the transmission when the car needs it to down shift. If the cable does not do its job then the car stays in a higher gear and dies when put into gear. Hope this helps. Good luck.

u need the timing belt replaced like yesterday, u are playing russian roulette with it breaking. also the plugs should have been repalced at 100,000 miles.

radio is locked out from installing incorrect code to many times need to disconnect battery for couple minutes then reconnect and install correct code
