Where is the fuse box for the alarm system
most facts are in the glove box operators guide.by alarm do you not mean , keyless remote entry system.and there are 2 optional systems just for this. and are wired differently.no symptoms stated.3rd google hit.http://www.autodealertools.com/quickQuote/manuals/2007/Grand%20Vitara.pdf07, should be close, if google patiently you will find the real deal.also , you can go to alldata dot com, and see it ALL.all options ,wiring and all fuses, breakers and power distribution.it is complex.btw , my response, is for USA cars, no country stated.my 04 does not have the optional Immobilizer system.and works in coordination with the keyless.i tripped over to alldata dot com, click, electric wiringand beholdthere is no immob. fuse , not per ce'the IMMO has 2 power wires. to the ICM (immb comms mod)the ignition black-wite feed (goes all over car and ECU)the black wire. thjis same wire runs the OBD2 DLC connectorat Pin 16, so if PIN 16 is hot, the fuse is good. This is hot all the time. Ok found the 2 fuses. fuse 39, IG-COIL ,in cab box, marked location "U"fuse 44 DOME, hot all the time, goes to all processors in car.'44 is marked fuse position "P"ECU,TCM, BCM , any thing with memory uses this memory power wire, and again there is no alarm fuse.post the symptoms for a better play.
