No, you don't have to remove the front bumper. The headlight bulb is in a tight spot so you will need someone with small hands to reach it. Pull the rubber boot with the connector off
and there is a spring clip that holds the bulb in place, remove the clip and pull the bulb out

no. not really. ESP uses many parts of car to control stabliity. can be many many things. brakes,, throttle controls, transmission? (are are used to control skids)

the operator guide, is clear. ESP Electronic stability control the book says, take it in, get it checked, or if big time DIY, read the FSM, buy one, read it.
