Mykcar wont shift out of par

next to your shift there is usually a little cap covering a little hole once removed. pull the button/cap off and push a key or small screw driver straight into the hole and pull the car out of park. it is a safety feature in more modern cars so you dont accidently throw it into get and just take off. this button/plug and usually be next to the shift or side of the colum. The button inside that hole is a safety release and is usually disengaged when you step on the brake also look at your fuses. one bad fuse and a $80.000 car becomes useless these days

P2a00 code

you have a 02 sensor on the exhaust under the car that usually goes shortly after the other and viseser verser. Go to the auto parts and ask if your vehicle is OBD 2 compliant. if so buy an OBD 2 and plug it into your socket usually under the drivers side between you knees. then press read. it wil tell you what codes and the results and you also have the option to erase the codes and turn out your check engine soon light. Replacing a sensor will turn off the light but it can take weeks for the computer to reset itself that`s why the machanic uses the OBD 2 to check to see what sensors are tripped and reset them. Try the reset before buying another sensor. this should work.

I have a 2006 Buick Lucerne 4.6L V8 with 80.0K I am receiving a fault of P2A00 I have replaced the upstream 02 sensor with a Bosch where else should I look?

check all air intake pipe work espescially rocker cover breather for any splits or cracking. If the air going into cylinder isnt correct then you will get a fault reading with the exhaust sensors as air/fuel mixture wont be correct before ign in cylinder
