This sounds like a dimmer switch problem. If I am thinking correct your dash lights will not dim with lights off correct? if so then replace the dimmer switch this cuts down the power and if it goes out it causes an open circuit

Not sure why but I would think it has something to do with the security set-up.

Press and hold the H or M for 2 seconds. The time will blink. Then press either the H or M to set hour and minutes. When your done just press PREV. button or the screen will resume after 10 seconds.

If you have a 3.5 engine there are two cam shaft sensors(one for each cam)As you look at the engine they are at the right end of the engine,at the end of the cam shafts.They tend to go at the same time,or close to one another so replace both while you are at it.They are held in place with one bolt.Go to the auto store and get the new ones and it will make your job a little easier. good luck

Hi James, Seems to me as though someone has wired it incorrectly. The ignition power should come from the ignition position and not accessories. There are two power inputs, one is constant and the other switched. If the unit loses memory when the vehicle is turned off, the cables have been switched. Regards John.

if it is an interference engine then it is done, valves hit the pistons. I can't get any info on the engine, so call the dealer and ask. Still easier to fix timing chain than haul out the engine, but with those miles if you can find a good deal on the engine and install then go for it. 1000$ would be my max expense.

Do you have problems starting the car?If no I have to ask.When was the last time you replaced the fuel filter on this car because this is what typically occurs with a dirty one . Camshaft sensor/crank angle sensors start showing problems starting up the car.It takes forever for the engine to catch They will also throw a code that a mechanic can read with a scan.These codes may not throw a check engine light so a scan is a must. good luck

Sometimes, if you buy it from a good auto parts store, you may get someone to replace it for you. its not rocket science ,but sometimes it is. ; )

Could be the dash board lights need to be adjusted to be brighter when headlights are turned on.

If the ABS warning light comes on the engine light should not come on as well. ABS light shows there is something wrong with the brakes. The engine light shows that there is something wrong with the engine.

Knocks can be external or internal Locate source or knock by removing fan belt does knock go away then turn each pulley by hand to find the bad component. Internal knocks are harder to diagnose due to concealment deep rattle squeak and knocks are the lower end a typewriter ticking knock can be the valve train.

I Have An 2002 maxima an it does the same thing.go to the fuse box drive side under the hood look for abs 40 fuse pull out with hand that should fix it

No they will not replace the engine cradle. They will lead you to a newer vehicle. My shop has had several come in with bad cradles and Nissan will not replace it. You can order an aftermarket kit to "bolt in" with a bit of work

Check your fuse for those componen

Open device manager in control panel and select Audio,then Speakers, and then Properties, then Update Driver, then Reboot. Good luck

Power stirring fluid low?

Woops::This sound like the cam belt is broken, also sounds like an expensive job, how old is the car and how often is it serviced?What is the cars value against the cost of repairs (new engine etc.) think about it.
