If you have a metal cable going to your clutch slave cylinder which is mounted on the gearbox bell housing (widest part of the gearbox) there is an adjuster on it. If there is only a hydlaulic pipe going to the slave cylinder then I'm afraid there is no adjustment to be made on your clutch, so, it needs either a new clutch or you have an oil leak onto you clutch pad which needs attending to, so, it's a trip to the local shop.

Sound like a electrical problem or bad harnesses connections; you will need to take off instrument cluster in order to check it. Also, check ground connections.Hope helps.

Hard to tell without looking at vehicle. I would spin pulleys (engine off of course) to make sure the spin straight and are not bent. Also make sure the spin freely. If so put new belt on then visually look at the alignment of the belt and make sure it is aligned with other pulleys. If this is ok I would check to see if any of the brackets are broken causing the belt to move and then break. Good luck, hope this helps.

I think I missed something in your story.The overdrive button on the shifter is used to turn the overdrive off. Otherwise you leave it on all the time. If the switch is in the off position the "o/d off" warning light should be on.What was the trouble code in the computer that caused the check engine light to be on ?

Turn the air conditioning off, when it does that. The compressor is working too hard, and there may not be enough coolant or oil running thru the system, causing a lot of drag on the pulley belt, causing the truck to **** and "get weak". Have your air conditioning system completely checked before operating it again.

Most of that message did not make any sense.Are you talking about the overdrive button on the shifter ? The check engine light should come on when you start the truck then go off while the engine is running. You don't want it on all the time.Are you saying there was a trouble code in the computer ?

Its possible the clutch disc is worn out, or something is not releasing in the hydraulic system.Can you disconnect the slave cylinder and check the movement of the disc ?

When you jumped the car did the engine spin over any faster or did it stay The same??? If it spun faster then the next step is to see if it is getting fire to the cylinders

Unless the head gasket is leaking, I would think you are looking for something electrical that is not working when hot, or a fuel problem.Do you know if you have spark and fuel pressure when it will not start ?

Squeal belts usually mean not enough tension. I have had problem with persistance squeling in the past, the problem turn out to be cheap aftermarket belt that keep stretching and wouldn't maintain proper tension, putting brake fluid or any kind of oily liquid on your belt will make it worst not better.
