My 1992,190e,2.6L benz responds slow when you

Worn ignition components or bad fuel system issue. With the vehicles age I would suggest a full tune up as people seem to think Mercedes means all parts last forever.

Mercedes benz 190.e is runing hot. when it get hot

Ok this is alot of problems that get to the same thing. First dont top off the reservoir. 2 inches from the top is fine, just shouldnt see the screen on the inside of the tank. Make sure you have a good cap that holds pressure. Replace thermostat as it is the most common failure in engines for overheating. Also make sure when your car reaches 105 degress that the electric fan comes on. If not check strip fuse and resistor block.

1/2'' play in linkage 1992 mb 109E 2.3L engine

two possible problems
1.) the accelerator pedal is binding or chaffed
2.) throttle body is binding

to diagnose simply disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle body and control the engine with the throttle linkage

if the engine no longer races then the concern is in the accelerator cable

if you find the engine continues to race then you should also find that the throttle linkage is stiff which is being caused from the throttle plate binding

gain access to the throttle plates and clean with a soft rag and almost anything other than brake or carb cleaner. usually soap and water work well

1992 MB 190E, 2.3L engine, noticed oil in coolant

1st flush out the cooling system, clean the recovery tank throughly and refill with clean coolant, if the radiator has a transmission cooler inside the tank like most do the leak many very well be coming from the cooler that is submerged in the radiator coolant, this is a really hard problem to track down as u might have already surmised, the thing at this point is to figure out if this is coolant that has broken down chemically (leaves a brown sludge deposit in recovery tank) or you have engine oil or a radiator trans cooler leaking, once the system is clean and flushed if the oily residue appears you will be3 able to see if it is the lighter transmission fluid or the heavier engine oil, if oi does show its face again in the coolant then the most likely source is a leaking cylinder head gasket or less likely a cracked cylinder head, I have seen oil go both ways, into the radiator and coolant into the engine, it all depends where the area of the leak is located in the coolant flow path.

I HAD A WIRING FIRE IN MY 1996 KENWORTH W900L

I found a couple of web sites that may be able to help you out. truckmanuals.com advertises KW manuals based on model and serial number in the $500US range. There is also another web site that will provide service manual info to on-line people to make their own repairs( I suspect there is a fee involved). It is cittrucks.com. Hope this helps.

1987 190e Mercedes shooting oil from valve cover

Could be a couple of things.

1st the valve cover gasket is shot because its old.
2nd blocked oil breather is causing high oil pressure which blew the gasket mentioned above.

Replace the gasket 1st and see what happens.

Car was over heating and now wont start

The 190 and 300's with the 2.6 and 3.0 l engines have a known head gasket failure (the oil and water passages were too close and the gasket would leak allowing water into the oil), that eventually meant upper engine dissambly at 125 to 150k miles. You didn't say if you have the 4 or 6 cylinder, but check your coolant reservoir for any grey, dark floating gunk. Next, check your oil...is there a brownish foamy looking oil on the dipstick? Not a good sign if so. With water in the engine's cylinders the car won't start and will need to have the head machined. Sorry, but there is no quick and cheap fix to this problem.
