2001 GMC Yukon XL 1500. Code problems P0134 P0154?
Which O2 sensors came out of the vehicle an which did you put back in ? Two different types for that vehicle.
DTC P0134 or P0154 (w/LR4 and LM7 w/ Delphi HO2S)
DTC P0134 or P0154 (w/LR4 and LM7 w/ Denso HO2S)
DTC P0134 or P0154 (w/LQ4 w/Denso HO2S)
I have a 2004 GMC Yukon XL and the rear passenger
check VEH STOP fuse in the instrument panel fuse box. If good, check for battery voltage in the bulb connector on the light blue wire with lights on. If no voltage, check for voltage in the rear junction box. Pull connector 4 and check for voltage on the terminal that connects to the light blue wire. If not voltage, you'll have to check the harness between the rear junction block and the underhood fuse block
All windows but drivers won't go up or down 2001 GMC yukon
If they sound like they are trying to do something it's not the lock out switch . But to be sure pulling out the switch an testing for B+ voltage to and from the switch . Plus pull the other door switches to see if they have B+ voltage and good grounds would be the thing to do.. If you don't know how to check automotive electrical circuits your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop .
Passenger Power Window Operation
The passenger power window switches incorporate window up and down relays. The relay coil feed and supply sides are powered through the RAP fuse supply voltage circuit. The normally closed contacts of each relay is connected to ground. The load side of each of the relays are connected to either side of the power window motor through the power window up and down circuits. The up and down relay control circuits are connected to the normally closed contacts of the passenger window switch. These contacts are wired in series with the power window master switch, through the power window master switch up and down signal circuits and then to ground when the power window master is placed in the up or down position. This allows for the up and down operation of the passenger power window from the power window master switch. The center pole of the passenger power window switch is also connected to ground and will energize the relay when placed in the up or down position.
Driver Power Window Operation
The driver power window is unique from the passenger power windows in that it does not use window up and down relays. The driver power window is operated directly from the power window switch.
The normally closed contacts of the switch are connected to ground and the center pole is connected to the RAP fuse supply voltage circuit. By placing the left power window switch in the down position, voltage is applied to the power window motor left front down circuit and to the power window motor. The other side of the power window motor is connected to ground through the normally closed contacts of the left power window switch through the power window motor left front up circuit and drives the window down.
By placing the left power window switch in the up position the polarity of the motor is reversed and the motor drives the window up.
Has circuit breaker for B+ power
• PWR WDO CB 25A (fuse block) (System power for left and right windows 2-door vehicles. System power for LF and LR windows 4-door vehicles)
• PWR WDO CB 25A (IP wiring harness junction block) (System power for RF and RR windows 4-door vehicles)
Could be passenger door switch .
2001 GMC Yukon - Clicking noise from dash/steering
I was having a clicking noise from a actuator under the dash of my car, it was a blend actuator.. Years ago they used cable then vacuum hose and now a lot of vehicle us actuators (motor driven gate) to open and close the vents, A/C and heater ducts. I do not know for sure that is your problem but when mine went bad I would get a clicking noise sometimes it click for a few seconds after I turned the car off. Just a thought.
A/c is not blowing cold air in front but air is cool in the rear.
Hey M, the pressure could be nothing but "hot air" and not freon... (I had this same problem!!) I let off a bunch of pressure..(nothing but clear hot air!!) ..using a small flat punch..on the low pressure side... if freon on comes out right away..stop.. if nothing but hot air comes out.. keep letting it out until freon comes out,,, When mine started letting out freon,, I quit and tried the A/C again... and it has been working fine since.. Just my recent experience!!!!
01 Yukon Transmission Problem Come and Goes
Take it to a reputable trans shop. These transmissions are controlled by a computer. If this is a 2500 or 3500 Yukon, I bet it is equipped with the 4L80E transmission. These have a tendency to allow transmission fluid into the large electrical connector, and it shorts out wires and can make things go crazy. There is a way to silicone the leak and fix it(videos on YouTube) or a good honest shop can do it without replacing parts.
Where is main accessory fuse
It's not the fuse. That fuse controls many different things. I would pull the A/C controller. Unplug it and plug it back in. If it comes on, It was corrosion at the plug. If not, I usually tear it down and fix the controller. Your best bet is to replace it, Unless you are into electronics and can solder very small components.
Has 358000 miles, just had leaks repaired. Twice since my oil pressure gauge reads no pressure but not all the time? Why
1. Oil Pressure Gauge Not Working
You will notice this happens when your oil pressure gauge is not reading, whether the engine is turned off, idle or running. Try to step on the gas to rev up the engine. If the oil pressure gauge still doesn't change its reading, your gauge is busted. It's best to replace it as soon as possible because you won't have any idea if your car is already overheating or not.
2. Oil Pressure Gauge Reading Too Low
When your engine is idle, the oil pressure gauge will have a low reading. When the engine starts running or when you're already cruising or on the freeway, your gauge's reading should have increased. If it stays on a low reading, then you now your oil pressure gauge is broken.
3. Oil Pressure Gauge Reading Too High
Another common oil pressure gauge problem is when your oil pressure gauge is reading too high when your engine is idle or when it's turned off. Rep
2001 yukon xl which fuse is the sunroof fuse
In the under hood junction box , fuse CTSY LP 15 amp . Instrument fuse panel PWR WDO CB 25amp .
Sunroof Motor Synchronization
Synchronization will be necessary anytime the sunroof module battery positive voltage circuit is interrupted. The sunroof module will be synchronized when the controller learns the full vent position. The sunroof system will ignore any open request until the system has been synchronized.
To synchronize the sunroof:
- Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
- Using the close/tilt up portion of the sunroof switch, operate the sunroof glass until it reaches the full vent position.
- Verify that the system operates normally.
Once the sunroof glass reaches the full vent position, the actual position is stored in the memory of the sunroof module. The sunroof module will stop the motor one motor revolution before the defined actual positions
Hope this help ! good luck !
