The air works in my 2001 GMC Yukon but it only blows through the defrost and the floor. What could be the problem and how can I fix this?

I think the flapper doors which direct the air flow are all controlled by engine vacuum which is piped through a one way valve (check valve), then into a vacuum resivoir, then to dash. Any leak in vacuum will cause this issue.

2001 yukon xl which fuse is the sunroof fuse

In the under hood junction box , fuse CTSY LP 15 amp . Instrument fuse panel PWR WDO CB 25amp . Sunroof Motor Synchronization Synchronization will be necessary anytime the sunroof module battery positive voltage circuit is interrupted. The sunroof module will be synchronized when the controller learns the full vent position. The sunroof system will ignore any open request until the system has been synchronized. To synchronize the sunroof:
  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Using the close/tilt up portion of the sunroof switch, operate the sunroof glass until it reaches the full vent position.
  3. Verify that the system operates normally.
Once the sunroof glass reaches the full vent position, the actual position is stored in the memory of the sunroof module. The sunroof module will stop the motor one motor revolution before the defined actual positions Hope this help ! good luck !

Why does the "check engine oil level" come on when oil level is normal?

Defective sensor or the wire connection to it is loose or bad connection.

My 2001 Yukon XL will tap when idling and the check engine oil pressure light comes on until I give it some gas then it goes away and tapping stops. What is this problem?

Without hearing it, I can only guess. Collapsed lifter or loose connecting rod bearing. High miles? Maintenance not done on schedule? That would do it.

Transmission slipping on my 2001 Yukon XL Is it time to change the fluid/filter or do I need a new Transmission?

Dunno! How many miles do you have on it? Have you change the fluid before? At what interval.

Need to remove driver seat cushion yukon xl 2001

Well I believe that only upholstery can fix that but the whole seat comes off. What seems to be the problem? It would be cheaper, only if your budget is tight, if you get another one from a pick a part near you.

Why is my 2001 Yukon making a chirping noise

I would check the freon level, because that would be the cheapest fix. If it's not the freon, it could be the AC compressor. If the compressor is locked up, it could make a screeching noise. As far as your brakes, I'd use some brake cleaner. Most likely (unless you've driven it tens of thousands of miles already) they are just dirty. Dust collects quickly on brakes. Hope this helps!
