How do i replace the upper control arm bushing on my 2000 GMC 4wd jimmy blazer

Use a C clamp type bushing tool to press out the old bushing and install the new one. Alternately, you can use a pneumatic chisel to dent the bushing from the back being very careful to not nick the control arm or the shaft. A little penetrating oil would help. Once the bushing loosens the pneumatic chisel can pop it out. Mark the shaft with a piece of tape to get it back the same way. Once the first bushing is out, the shaft should slide out through the hole making it easy to remove the second bushing. To install a new one make sure that the A frame won't bend when installing the bushing. Don't forget to put the shaft back before installing the second bushing. Don't tighten the nuts on the ends of the shaft until the A frame is installed and lower A Frame supported with a jack approximating the normal ride height. Fixing the bushing rotation at normal ride height will make them last longer.

No power at high rpm

I'm guessing but this sounds like air problems. do you have a new air filter? The O2 sensor may be off but not technically bad yet. I'm pretty much stuck on something restricting the air flow.

Wheel bearing right front

I think you must replace the entire hub assembly. You need a shop manual to do this correctly.

Po446 evap vent code where is the evap vent

Some might have an ses p0446, evap emissions vent circuit low. If you take it to the dealer they want 300-400.00 to fix the problem. GM has a service bulletin on this condition and have the updated part for 180.00, thats suppose to eliminate this issue.

Basically the problem is, the evap purge vent valve gets clogged with dirt, especially if the truck is used in dirty conditions. Well I figured there had to be a cheaper way to cure this problem.

Here it is:
1) find the location of the vent valve; its under the truck, locate the charcoal canister on the front of the gas tank and trace the vent line to the vent valve.
2) Take the bracket loose with a 5/8 wrench.
3) Spin the valve around so the side with the hole is facing you.
4) Take an air compressor and blow the vent valve out.
5) reinstall and clear the code and it's fixed.

Now I know the updated part from gm is supposed to keep the valve from clogging ever again, but why spend the money when all you have to do is blow out the vent valve every 50k-100kmi and save your $$$!

Please tell which fuse controls wiper fluid.

You need to unplug the pump motor on the reservoir tank. A lot of times there is a buildup of corrosion. Please clean connection and verify that you do have 12+ volts at the pump. Someone will have to push mist button to see the voltage reading. A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you. please-tell-fuse-controls-wiper-fluid-zb4bomd1rt4qms0dqd12kkt2-5-0.jpg

My truck starts fine but as misses when driving

The trouble shooting section in the Chilton/Haynes repair manual that covers your truck will lead you to most likely through least likely reasons for this stumble while running. I just checked my own repair manual (1992 GMC Sonoma). Most likely problem is in HEI system. I would suggest a full tune-up if one hasn't been done in memory, if at all. (My father-in-law bought a couple used cars that had misfire codes. Pulled the plugs and found they had NEVER been replaced in over 100,000 miles.) Replace plugs, wires, distributor cap etc. Be sure the plugs are gapped correctly, etc. Best of luck with your GMC. The bad news about these newer GMCs. I had to get a special wobble-socket and take the front tires off of my truck to change the front 2 spark plugs. You have to go through this little hatch type opening in the inner fender well to access them. What a bummer.

Finding fuel leak options with very little fuel in tank, leaks with addition of $5 worth of fuel?

Surely you can see the fuel on the outside of the fuel tank or a rusted fuel tube under it You should be able to find that issue in 10 minutes IF you get under it That is only 2 gallons added at a time Wouldn't you think the fuel tank is the issue,if it leaks without the motor running Now you also know we can not guess from here

On my 2000 gmc jimmy if i start it every morning around 9 then in the evening around 5 no problem but if i miss either one or its later it is hard hard to startany ideas

First thing I would do is to put an OBDII reader on it and see if any codes are being stored in the ECU. Just because the engine light isn't on, doesn't mean it's not throwing out codes. Some other things to take into account is when the last tune up was done on the vehicle. If the plugs are original they may be ready to be changed, Your igniters (Coil Packs) may be throwing weak spark. If you have over 100K on the truck, you're fuel pump may be getting weak or at the very least the fuel filter may be getting clogged. Just some things to think about, but definitely pull the codes, if there are any it will lead you in the right direction of either an electrical problem or a fuel problem.

Why radiator wont hold water

Is your antifreeze leaking on the ground in the front of the motor ? There are many different things to do to find the right answer to this question. 1 : pull the motor dipstick. If oil mixes with the water - antifreeze the dipstick will look milky. If it does not. And looks good. Then 2: with water in the radiator don't put antifreeze in it keeps wasting $$ til leak is found. 3 : start motor look from under the front of the water pump with a flashlight if you have a dripping from a weep hole in the water pump bottom behind the fan. If you can't find a leak shut off the motor. Feel the bottom of the water pump if there is a presence of water you'll need a new one. If not .4:if the motor is over heating or has been blowing antifreeze out of the overflow hose along the side of the radiator. If so the thermostat may be stuck. Much cheaper repair.
