There is a small sleeve just below the shift knob on the ford focus - it can slide down and trigger a sensor in the gear box that tells the car it is not in park even when it is. Push the sensor back up toward the knob (with the car in park) and the key should release.

What ignition lights? I didn't know it has any. Perhaps you are trying to use technical terms incorrectly? Does it make ANY sound when you turn the key to start?

First thing to check is the battery voltage could be something as easy as a flat battery, an easy check is turn the lights on with ignition off are they working? If you have a good battery a common problem especially if been recently serviced is the central junction box which is located behind/ under the glovebox check it's all connected properly as the multi plugs sometimes come adrift that's the first checks I would try

No there is no reason at all for only a thermostat . yhey are time consuming yes but not that time consuming. i have been a Ford tech for almost 10 years. And have chaged multiple thermostats on these vehicles. If they are charging that much they ate doing morr than a thermostat or something is fishy.

think its in the money tray you pull it out and fuse box behind it. think its a 10 amp. its like a pocket in the dash around knee height. i'm sure its there was on 2007 model.

sounds like you have a vacuum line off so your vent doors will not be able to move

Its not abs. Check brake pad where on both fronts I bet that side is lower.

make sure all your air hoses are plugged in good and tight

switch is stuck,,

door switch needs replaced it is stuck

put car on ramps and on the gear box there is a switch undo it and pull out. replace with new one.

What happening is you have a bad head gasket or its starting to go bad. As long a little oil is getting in to cylinders causing that smoke once it warms up that gasket is expanding thus the smoke stops. I would keep an eye on oil levels if it gets milky replace gasket asap. Could also be intake gasket but highly doubt it this sounds like a worn head gasket.

Your blend air door is cable controlled, and the cable unraveled internally at the switch, it just happens to be stuck in the defrost position, ive had the same issue, just replace the blend air door cable/switch and its fixed!! looks to be about $40.
