First get the vehicle plugged into an OBD2 Diagnostic system or an OBD2 scanner to find out why the Check Engine light is On. This will give Trouble Codes as clues to where any problems are. This will cost you money so ask at 4 or 5 garages as the prices can be VERY different, (Dealerships will charge you well over a $100 for them to do it). These codes might explain the starting and rolling issues. How bad is the Oil leak? If the leak is serious, where you can see it dripping, get it to a good mechanic AS SOON as possible! Driving with low oil levels WILL cause serious damage to the engine. (By serious I mean Expensive!). If it is only seeping out don't panic about it but get a good mechanic tol ook at it and trace where the leak is coming from as soon as you can. For the gear box issue I'm assuming this is on an automatic transmission. When you put it in Park a metal 'Peg' drops into a notch inside the transmission stoping it from turning. Moving it into Neutral tells the vehicle electronics that it isn't in park and turns off some of the safety controls. Your issue sounds like this 'Peg' isn't doing what it's supposed to do. A faulty sensor or the peg mechanism itself could be the problem. You will need a transmission specialist to look at it to see where the actual problem is. Does it start back up right away ? Need to let it sit for a bit ? Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuit's ? Using a wiring diagram ,so you know what wire's your testing . Also using a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter to test said circuit's ? If not your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.

Battery or voltage regulator in the alternator

Air/Fuel/Spark. To clean a fuel filter you replace it. you can take the injectors off and soak them in cleaner as well but if it will not turn over, you are not getting the starter to work which could be the starter or could be the solenoid that is between the batter and the starter. If it is turning over, take out a spark plug and hold it firmly to the engine case and crank one revolution to verify your spark plugs are firing. Don't get shocked (not my fault if you do). You should also smell the gas coming from the cylinder and that will help confirm the injectors and fuel system are working. Hope that helps.

Open the driver door and check the wiring between the driver door and the body (inside the rubber protector) which leads to the fuse box. It may be old and brittle or just broken. Re solder the wire and protect with electrical tape if broken.

Ford trucks have known issue with faulty instrument displays printed circuit boards.

Sounds like your brake calibers are sticking. Get new ones and new pads. You probably should get new rotors also because with the dragging calibers they most likely got hot and are warped. Search on ebay and www.rockauto.com . I personally use power stop drilled and slotted rotors with mid grade pads. You can probably get a whole kit.

Look at your motor mounts ( very likely), a bad tire on the driver's side, or perhaps a worn strut or some other worn out suspension part. God bless your efforts.

P0171 is a lean fuel condition . The computer reflashed has nothing to do with it . Vacuum leak intake manifold probably . If both P0171 & P0174 were back could be fuel pump low flow or restricted fuel filter . or O2 sensor problem or mass airflow sensor.
