The relay is easier to change, I would try it first, unless you get someone with an electric meter and a lot of smarts to check it out first.
The relay should be in a black plastic box under the hood of the car, and may very well be labelled.
If a new relay does not fix it, you may be looking at a new "multi-switch" on the steering column.
That requires taking the steering column apart to change it.
God bless your efforts.

Not sure why you are thinking camshaft position... I am thinking maybe a relay is giving up. Did you check for fuel pressure and spark after the stall?
I just got my fuel
Check or have someone to check the voltage to the pump. If you have voltage then would change the filter.
Remove front bumper fascia on a 2003 tracker
Best way is ask a garage that does Chevy or get an illustrated parts list, maybe online or ebay and this will at least show the location of all the bolts and clips for the front end. One thing is, have you a comprehensive tool kit to tackle this task and maybe a degree of knowledge to identify the components?
2002 chevy tracker pcv valve location
It mostly depends on engine size...however all (PCV) Positive Crankcase Ventalation Valves are plugged inside one of the valve covers with a small clip to hold it and a breather hose is connected to it..You can go get the part to see what it looks like then you will know...also ask sales clerk and he will be glad to tell you...Some are near the valve cover.(The valve cover is normally where the oil fill cap is located ).Yours (Pending engine) should have a green ring around it if it has never been replaced..Look near the spark plug at the back of the engine and you will see it...Before you attempt to change it be sure engine has cooled down and car is in park with park brake is engaged..disconnect ground cable from battery for safety and to reset computer to clear all trouble codes if any were present.clean around area to remove any contaminants that might fall in placement hole..Remove hose, use small plyers and lightly pull on placement clip..(Don't drop the clip)...Twist valve back and forth while pulling and it should pop out..clean the hole area, use a flashlight to look inside and look for oil cake build up or trash..lightly lube around installation end of new PCV Valve...twist and push to install..install clip/hose..connect battery...Complete...Hope this helps...Brooks/Metalpoet....

2003 chevy tracker 2.5 v6 maf sensor voltage,
No the three wires are 1 battery voltage 1 reference voltage 5 volts 1 ground. these sensors read in Hertz so a low reading would indicate a leak in the piping. Low voltage could be due to a dirty sensor computer measures the burn off of the hot wire which has been contaminated by dirt or K & N air filter cleaner. The number one seller of mass air flow sensors.
