Failed clutch (stuck to floor)
I would say your pressure plate for your clutch is going bad, however it could be the clutch is actually sticking on the input shaft for the transmission, when it is cold the dirty grease Will be thicker causing it to stick, in warmer temperatures it will slide better. But it is still a sign of a weak pressure plate
Carburetor Adjustments:I have a vw passat `76
try checking the distributor cap for cracks on the side, even hairline cracks will leak out spark, check under the cap, make sure the contacts are clean, and maybe make sure your points are also clean and correctly gapped. good luck.
I smell gas in my 2007 vw passat
Check the gas cap and the carbon canister. There is a pressure sensor on the fuel tank that has a gasket that can leak. Cracked fuel return lines can leak too. Look under the hood for wet spots that would indicate a leaking rubber hose on and around the fuel injectors.
1999 VW Passat- rear door locks are intermittent
I suggest you check the wiring where it passes from the car into the doors, especially the plug in type of door. The wiring at that point is subject to flexing so in cold weather when the plastics are less flexible considerable stress can be caused on wiring and connections.

Passat low beam relay where is it located
Did you check for power at the connector feeding into the headlight fixture?
The majority of the time, failed low beams are a result of:
1. Failed bulbs (it's very common for both sides to fail at the same time, or within a short amount of time of each other)
2. Failed
Headlight switch
3. Failed harness inside the headlight fixture.
There are other causes, but those 3 account for 95% or more of the cases we see here.
The low beam fuses are after the headlight switch, so if you're seeing power there, then you've ruled out the switch and everything "upstream" from it.
