Hi, i need the cluster wiring diagram of the golf mk2 , these clouster is whit analogue tachometer and digita clock.
I will apreciated tour help

Check for wear in the gear linkages. Ther are repair kits available.

Have the battery tested, even if you just got it. Tighten and clean cables at starter and at battery as well.

clutch or clutch cable adjustment

the fuel pump is in the tank you got to drop the tank to get to the fuel pump, the less fuel you got the better.

it is kind of beyond belief that someone could replace the entire clutch and yet be unaware that the actuator, be it hydraulic or mechanical, is not working. That is like saying you replaced the head but did not notice there were no pistons in the engine. The shifter fork sticks out the side of the bell housing and connects to the actuator.

You need to take it back to the person who did the clutch and inquire as to how he managed to miss the totally obvious. Having to get the vehicle towed back to your home after getting a new clutch installed would be a clue that something was awry with the clutch install.

If i were you i would check to make sure nothing is in the cigarette lighter causing a dead short. i know my kids have put pennies, and dimes in mine before, will blow it in a hearbeat, cant even get the fuse all the way in without it blowing. as far as the windows go??? id see about that problem first, maybe they are linked together somehow, but i can tell you one thing, the power windows do have a power window relay, most likely under the hood in the fuse panel... sometimes they are in the fuse panel by the dash inside.. if its the one inside you will be looking for a little aluminum looking fuse that will be bigger than the normal fuses in there, there will most likely be 2 of them.

Hi! You can do it yourself not unless the firewall itself broke down. If its only the fastener then you can buy a clutch cable replacement for the fastener is built into it. But if the problem is the firewall, this will require a tinsmith to rebuild the broken firewall where the fastener sits. Hope this helps and thank you for using FIxYa!

This is caused by a defective ignition start switch, this is the electrical switch that powers up the electrical system when u turn the key, replace that switch. The switch is on the back side of the ignition key cylinder, see picture below, cost is about $20.00 for the switch, easy to replace, just take the plastic covers off the steering column

check under the dash.

sounds like the side/head lamp switch is faulty
