Brake lights and turn signal don't work???
turn on the emergency flashers(e-flashers)if they work check the bulbs at the same time.if this is good then check the fuses.you may have a problem with the turn signal flasher needing replacing.this is a different flasher than that of the e-flasher,looks the same but a different flasher.usually located on or around the fuse panel under the dash.the brake light problem could be a misadjusted switch or a bad switch.the switch is at the base of the brake pedal and has two wires to it.one wire will have power all the time and the other wire will only have power on it when the brake pedal is pushed.if not then the switch will need replacing.check for broken wires at the switch as these sometimes break causing a problem.

Can the brake line be replaced with flex line? I
You might be able to use flex line if it will hold up to the pressure for your car.
Try to buy one that will also be able to fit a much heavier car than yours.
You can make a metal line with copper tubing and a flange making tool, you might even be able to repair the one you have now.
The flange making tool can be purchased at just about any hardware store as well as any Pep Boys or good auto parts store that sells tools.
Very easy tomake a flange on the end of the tubing,if you need to bend the tube just cover the tubing with a long spring, make your bends remove the spring and add your fittings, then you make your flanges and install the tube to your car.
Good luck,Gary
I have a warning light on on the dashboard no
okay let me tell you and i will try to show you them. first is the check engine light which is a yelloe symbol of a small engine, this means theres a problem with the engine operation or emmisions system. this you can go to an auto parts store and they will scan the cars computer for codes and give you a print out. i can help you further with the codes, next is the anti braking system which doesnt allow the wheels to skid in heavy braking or snow and ice, this symbol will say ABS.nextis the red brake light which will say BRAKE in red and will sometimes come on with the yellow ABS light this light if on alone means you are low on brake fluid, which means a leak or low brakes and you need to have the brake system checked asap, the rest of the light are low coolant, trac, which is in the ****** and controls the traction control, this light will come on if this cars has it when the abs or engine light is on because the computer shuts it done when theres a problem.hope this helps.heres a good site that will show you all lights and what they mean there are alot depending on the car. hope this is helpful.http://www.autoevolution.com/news/how-to-read-the-dashboard-lights-1370.html
96 pontiac sunfire bogs down and dies when I apply the gas.
as far as the bogging and dieing,it sounds like the tps.a simple trottle body service would fix that.for your new problem you need to some test before pointing to a salution.start the car and cover your tail pipe.as pressure builds it push you hand off.a clogged cat will put to much back pressure on the engine.i would un plug the mass air flow sensor and try running the car.this will turn on the check engine light.check your air filtter and plugs.also check your wires.a nother test is a coil strees test.(you have to go to a shop for this)if the car runs ok with no load but spitts and sputters in drive you may have a openning coil.checking with a meter only works if it does not run.last but not least while you at the shop, have them check your timing.a faulty cam sencer will bog the car down with bad timing advancement but not throw a code.
hope this helps, remember to keep it simple, expensive elec. parts are not always the problem
