2001 Nissan Altima Questions & Answers
What causes an 'EGR Incomplete' report?
when you change a component in emissions it changes and clears the ready back to inc so you would need the system to cycle through to get it into ready mode dont change any thing just need to put mileage on it or try a quick cycle https://www.smogtips.com/smog-question/2833/2001-Nissan-Altima-OBDII-Monitors-Not-Ready
2001 nissan altima will not crank when ignition is turned to start position it makes a clicking sound with a new battery
First check the battery connections are Clean and Shiny dirty connections wont let the electricity flow properly. If you know how to use a Multimeter, (set to DC volts), check the battery is still fully charged. There should be around 12.6 volts in it. The starter needs a minimum of 9 volts to crank over so anything under 10 volts is a flat battery.
Is this a quiet, single click or a louder single 'Clunk' noise?
This could also be a starter motor issue. The 'Click' is the solenoid, (an electrically controlled switch), operating and sending power to the actual starter motor. The 'Clunk' is the starter motor engaging but not actually turning the engine over. These are all signs the starter motor might be starting to fail.
Get a Good mechanic to look, and listen, to it. He will be able to tell if it is the solenoid or the actual starter motor causing the issue.
2005 Nissan Altima - seat
If it will move in every other direction I would start by looking under the seat and check down in the seat trac for something lodged in it way.
I changed my radiator, water pump, and thermostat.
Hi There,
Chances are the cooling systems requires "bleeding". Meaning there is a pocket of air in the hoses where your sensor is.
Dependent upon the car maker, there are specific instructions on rectifying this problem.
If your car is an vintage car (about 30 years or more), then the thermostat could be playing up (stuck), and needs replacing.
Good luck!
2001Nissan Altima air cond. trouble
I'd need to see the pressure when it's kicking off. If the pressure is on the edge, it can cause it to drop on cooler days where the low pressure switch shuts it down. How do you know what charge is in it? Did you evacuate and fill with a scale? You CANNOT judge charge based on pressure alone. Impossible

Where is my leak coming from?
Juan, Oil could be leaking from a lot of different location, places to start looking are oil pressure switch, valve cover gasket, timing cover/crank seal, oil pan gasket, etc. Engine may have to be washed down to locate leak. Have a good tech. scan vehicle for trouble codes, diagnose why car dose not run and estimate repair. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck
