Go to your power distribution box under the hood disconnect the battery by taking both cables off now go to the box and take off the nut and disconnect the cable clean the connection and reattach then clean the battery cables do not use a wire brush just alcohol or brake parts cleaner the brush will take away the metal/lead and make everything loose the connections need to be tight

Look under the dash for an after market set up. Get rid of it. It is dieing and will eventually not let you start the vehicle.

hI generally they are attached to the engine block area and look like a oil pressure switch (a bit vague I know) but if you don't know what or where it is don't go near it and bring your vehicle to a proper repair shop !

The SJB is fords BCM located under the front passenger side floor console . Five digit number on the right center of sticker .

Theftlock/passlock whatever ford calls it. It is their anti theft system. The system provides a link from the computer to the key itself where a chip tells it that it is indeed the correct key. If your key isn't working you likely need to do a pats relearn procedure. Guessing you lost all power or replaced a battery or a pcm

Mostly you can't as the alarm and immobiliser is integrated into the vehicle/engine management system. It might be possible to disable it by getting at the software if you have the skill and a laptop with the right programmes but other than that disconnecting the sounder is all that is possible. Some of the earlier Ford alarms were operated by a separate module that could be disconnected. Unfortunately these were hidden behind the dashboard and impossible to reach without first removing the dashboard.

I'm not sure of engine litre size? I looked at 3.0L engine. Note the picture, number 5 is the shield. Looks like you need to remove a bolt and a push pin.

Not that I am aware of. My book on the 2001-2007 Escape does not indicate any adjustment in that push rod. double check the part number against the part number that should be installed by calling another parts store and asking if they have the part and then compare the number they give you with the number you have. Make sure the brands are the same. The problem you may have is that a lot of stores assume that all parts in these year models are interchangeable between the Escape and Mazda Tribute. In fact many are since both vehicle were built in the same factory with very few differences. In fact the repair manuals usually list both vehicles in the same book.

There should be 2 "press in" buttons. One is for the menu for miles or km to see how much you traveled and total miles of the engine however the other is for today's miles and you can reset that by keeping your finger on the button for 3 seconds.

Your problem sounds like you have a worn out ujoint or cv joint which would vibrate under strain when adding power to the drive train.

could be a few things engine mounts gearbox mounts cv joints on prop shaft flex disks if it has any could be missing when under heavy load there are many things i have somthing similer on my mercedes think its the flex disks hope this helps

check thermostat is not faulty and stuck in closed position in cooling system. See other post as well ! on more information needed .
