Why does the ABS seem to move forward a few more feet when I brake at a stop sign
The ABS feel like a fast pulsing in the brake pedal-- it's unmistakable. If there is no pulsing, then it probably isn't the ABS. The ABS should only kick in when you are stopping quickly on slippery ground. If it is coming on everytime you stop, then there is definitely a problem and this needs to be looked at by a professional-- preferably a dealership for your particular vehicle, though this isn't necessary.
WHERE IS AC FUSE
Well, there isn't a fuse for the A/C switch. the A/C is controlled by the ECM. Unfortunately, you will have to have the A/C checked. It will take a scanner and a set of gauges to do it. The scanner checks the sensors in the system. The gauges will tell you what needs replaced, if anything.. Some times all it needs is recharged.
What causes my transmission to get hot
Could be getting hot if you are pulling alot with or towing.Remedy would be to change the fluid and filter and also add a larger transmission cooler.Which would be an external behind the grill. This is a broad answer because I do not know if you are towing. But these are things that will fix over heating tranny.
My 2000 ford ranger will not go in park drives fine
Do you mean the gear selector physically won't move into the Park position or that it does move to indicate it is in Park but will still roll?
I'm sure you know you have to pull the gear selector toward you to get it into Park.
The windows on my ford explorer 2000 xlt dont want work up or down
Just a suggestion but after checking fuses and relays (relays can be interchanged from 'like' relays) check wires between drivers door and the door jam, pulling the boot out to do so or slicing it carefully.
