2000 Ford Ranger SuperCab - Page 4 Questions & Answers
What would cause my 2000 ranger to buck between 45 and 50 mph going up hill
Yea! I'd like to see the answer to this also!
My Ford Explorer 2000 does the same thing going up hill. Especially with a loaded trailer on.
Local mechanic had it for the day and couldn't put his finger on it.
I can alleviate the problem by turning the AUTO Trak knob to 4x4 Hi while driving and the jerking stops.
I'll keep an eye here to see what others think
Cheers
Trevor
WIRING DIAGRAM FORD RANGER 2006
WHAT IS WRONG THAT YOUR ASKING FOR A WIRING DIAGRAM MAYBE IT CAN BE FIXED WITHOUT IT IF YOU SPECIFY WHAT THE PROBLEM IS POST BACK AND I'LL HELP YOU
My2000 ford ranger3.0 does not. Start good cold weather
its possible that one of the coil towers has a hairline crack in it or the coil connector plug inside may be leaking and in the cold or rain there is excessive moisture in the air and possibly dew forming under the hood when you try to start it the spark is jumping this can also happen where you plug it in here's a picture or two
check these parts the towers the plug on both sides of it on the coil and check the plug that gets inserted into the coil if you can check in the dark with a blanket over you so your in total darkness and look at the coil you might see the jumping spark while someone cranks the motor another thing that could give you problems is the crank position sensor I don't know how much mileage you have on the motor but if it's a lot these sensors the crank/camshaft can be worn and in poor condition they are magnetic but they transmit electrical voltage pulses back to the computer and if there is dirt in the connector or the sensors just not doing it anymore like it used to it will be harder to start in cold or moisture laden weather than hot and dry outside post back with progress made was the E C M ever disconnected the plug might not be tightened enough and moisture can get past the water proof connector? good luck stephen
Clutch pedal replacement
I really would need to know the year of the truck and also what exactly is the pedals or pedal doing. The question you asked is very vague and as you can expect you will only get a vague answer.
WHY MY TRUCK WILL NOT START
Hi,
If the panel is ok and it's not dimn when you try to start than you have to check on the starter fuse, starter relay and if this are ok than on the starter motor it self there is a positive caple which comes direct from the ingnition power supply chech if its having current when you turn your keys to start position if its having than try to start the starter motor direct by bridging the caple on the solonoid and starter direct which it have to start the vehcile. If it failes than remove the startor for repair.
Regards,
Emmanuel.
